Matt Everett is a musician, visual artist, and ADHD coach residing in Rhode Island, United States. He has performed and recorded as a solo entity and as half of a guitar/drums duo with Greg Motta; and playing violin/accordion/voicebox with Sharks Come Cruisin, a sea shanty band. Other musical activities have included playing and recording with amazing songwriter Matt Park, playing loud fiddle with Hope Anchor, and backing up the very clever songwriter Jacob Haller on accordion and violin. In the more distant past, Matt has played with the bands Amoebic Ensemble, Alec K. Redfearn and the Eyesores, Fern Knight, and the Iditarod, as well as his own bands Mount Everett, the New Nice, Cloud Chamber, and BebeRequin.
In 2011 and 2012 Matt collaborated on music for actor James Franco, including the Motown-styled EP Motorcity put out under the band name "Daddy" in September 2012; and the soundtrack to Endless Idaho, a 12-hour version of the Gus van Sant classic My Own Private Idaho.
