This enigmatic melodic techno duo exploded onto the scene in summer 2020 with their Lane 8 collaboration, 'Run', a bonafide hit for both artists. As of March 2022, it’s been streamed nearly 20 million times on Spotify and charted at #1 on SiriusXM BPM. 

Kasablanca's legend continues to grow. ‘Run’ was followed by their debut album 'Human Learning', and they've been touring globally ever since. The duo debuted their live show, replete with racks of modular synthesisers, at Red Rocks Amphitheater in September 2021 while supporting US bass superstar Rezz. 

In December 2021, they joined us at Anjunabeats, remixing Above & Beyond's 'Black Room Boy' as part of the '10 Years of Group Therapy' celebrations. Their first original music on the label arrived soon after: ‘Immunity’ in January 2022, and ‘Can You Hear Me Now?’ in February 2022. ‘Immunity’ playlisted on Diplo’s Revolution station on Sirius XM, and was described as “a sleekly propulsive slice of melodic techno” by Billboard. 

Kasablanca recently thrilled crowds at CRSSD Festival in San Diego, Terminal 5 in NYC, and Echostage in Washington D.C. Further dates across the US are planned across spring/summer 2022, including Buffalo, Columbus and Houston.

Nikko.Z's Dopamine White rounds out the month of April by welcoming Electric Dada to the label for their debut single. Made up of German artists Jan de Vice and JP Silence, the Electric Dada alias was revealed to the world in 2020. The duo's progressive style was immediately recognized for its emotive qualities and strong dancefloor sensibility. A transcendent sound which would see them go on to release key projects via Univack and Massive Harmony Records, while also earning the praise of the underground's tastemakers. Now, presenting their first single of 2023, Electric Dada debuts on Dopamine White with 'Liquid Dope Skin', alongside a remix from Paul Deep.

Looking to diversify their portfolio further, Electric Dada calls on the vocal talents of Mawine. Together the trio craft a sweeping sonic experience all their own, where full key changing grooves and driving percussion set the course for emotive arps and balmy atmospheres. Dopamine Music has also been a regular landing spot for the Buenos Aires resident, with five appearances since making his label debut in 2017. Now, following a remix of 'Cycles' by fellow countryman Juan Deminicis, Paul makes a welcome return to Dopamine with a heady take on 'Liquid Dope Skin'. Rather than burst into a dancefloor whirlwind or electronic symphony, Paul's remix evokes its emotions through slow burn repetition, dodging expectations and emphasizing its conceptual charm; as crunchy rhythms, striking chord stabs and hypnagogic synths unveil a semi-conscious dreamland, before the Argentine's progressive attitude reveals itself during a final of tension filled noise, deconstructed vocals and cosmic arps. A powerful interpretation from Paul Deep, which rounds out an excellent label debut for Electric Dada, an artist duo who is set to emerge further as 2023 unfolds.
