ENGINE ROOM

Down here in the engine room
There’s oily steam, sardines and gloom
Brass, glass gauges about to burst
Stinking sailors Oh it gets worse, 
It gets worse

Vibrating pipes all leaking  steam
Its hot enough to burst a spleen
Valve wheels hissing wall to wall
Ive seen them blow it killed them all


This furnace just consumes your soul
A gaping mouth of firey coal
Every shovel full into its open hole
It just cries out for more

Imre’s fireman No 1
Above the bilge water he’s top gun
He keeps fire in the belly 
Of this hungry sun 
Without even breaking sweat
Hows your shift been Imre or Gun

Well maybe numb, maybe no one
I think I should be on the run
But here I stand and shake and gape 
And looking for a fire escape

Cause I’m supposed to extinguish the sun
When all I got is a water gun

Fantasy In C Minor

I am not a musician but music plays a very important role in my creative life! I am an artist/designer and music is my companion and my muse in the long hours I spend working in my studio! 
I am immensely impressed and grateful for all the talented and inspiring musicians whose work graces this Cloud, and I will always re-post sounds that I love (and will listen to again) - knowing that others will enjoy them!
I feel slightly embarrassed and quite humbled when I receive such graceful messages of thanks from artists whose work I have re-posted - after-all, I am the one who is so inspired by the discovery of your brilliant music!!!

Since my heart op in Jan2021, I have had to deal with taking quite a lot of meds which have interrupted my design work - that and moving to Germany in 2020 - and back in 2021 (due to Covid my business plans stalled!) - SO, slowly getting it together…. hang tight!😊
