El reciente álbum de Kosu Nes, más conocido por su alias Huma, se erige como un ejercicio radical de hibridación sonora, donde la intersección de ritmos antiguos, flamenco y vanguardia electrónica se manifiesta a través de una arquitectura rítmica compleja y procesos avanzados de manipulación acústica. Apoyado en una investigación exhaustiva sobre la música tradicional y patrones rítmicos específicos, Kosu Nes articula una textura auditiva que trasciende las normas estilísticas. El trabajo explora una simbiosis intrépida entre lo tradicional y lo experimental, cerrando una brecha sonora entre la herencia cultural y la especulación futurista.
En Itionomaxi, Kosu Nes intensifica esta fusión al entrelazar las ricas capas rítmicas del flamenco con distorsiones electrónicas agresivas e infundidas con ruido. Las palmas tradicionales se combinan con ráfagas sintéticas, fallos irregulares y pulsos industriales, creando un paisaje sonoro volátil. Su manipulación precisa pero audaz de estos elementos crea un marco sonoro donde la calidez orgánica del flamenco choca con abrasiones mecánicas frías, ofreciendo una experiencia auditiva cruda pero meticulosamente elaborada.

He incorporates technical and theoretical elements from jazz, bossa nova, liquid drum and bass, as well as salsa and Afro-Latin rhythms, creating a forward-thinking and eclectic style like no other.
