I Am Legend - Orchestral Cover by Filip Melvan

This is the only instrumental on the EP, for this track I really wanted to explore melody and changes over time instead of bashing the ears with super complextro bass sounds. This song really came from my metal roots and how guitarists harmonize with two guitars. Harmonizing and seeing how two notes play with each other is one of my favorite parts of writing music so this song was really fun to write.

Here's a cover of a track from the movie The Impossible. It's called "He looked so Happy", and was composed by Fernando Velazquez. Everything is done by ear so as usual, I apologize if there's any mistake ! 
I played and recorded everything with a Yamaha NP-V80 keyboard, Cubase 5, Garritan Personal Orchestra and Steinberg's Grand Piano 2.

From an early age he has always had an interest in music gaining his Grade 8 Organ examination by the age of 16. Since this time he has broadened his horizons with the addition of new instruments such as piano, bass guitar and very recently acoustic guitar.

He also has done vocals and backing vocals for artists and himself.Born in Great Yarmouth, England he has since moved to Leeds in order to pursue his career further by studying at Leeds College of Music.
