Toxic Aid is a group of current/former aid workers, journalists, investigators, social media and other professionals who believe there's a need for disruptive and unorthodox protest actions in aid. Toxic Aid, has recently received a lot of information from survivors, journalists, and other concerned experts about how difficult it is to bring accountability at WHO because there has been a lack public engagement with the news on sexual violence that has broken over the last three years.

Toxic Aid has launched a Campaign called #TedrosGottaGo to amplify perspectives of survivors, experts and the public on how they feel about the situation at WHO and the lack of justice so far for survivors in DRC. The Campaign's initial objective is that the Head of The World Health Organization, Tedros is removed from his position, investigated and charged with any criminal activity or for failure to have acted in an appropriate way given his position as the person who is ultimately accountable for the actions of his staff, the processes by which accountability has failed survivors and for failing to deliver justice to the survivors of those sexually exploited and abused under his leadership. Following this a series of actions need to occur, but TedrosGottaGo first.
