On the Edge

ON MY MIND

this is the first song off my second EP, “bipolar,” which will come out in full in 2021. the EP gets its title because after my breakup, I started getting help for what I found out was bipolar 2 disorder, which in retrospect has drastically affected the quality of my every day life for years, in some good ways but in many bad. 

Matt (Not Famous) sent me some songs and one of them stood out because, while I was in a relationship at the time, it felt like exactly how I would handle a breakup if it was gonna happen. Bombay (sapphire) is my drink, at the time I smoked weed every day, and I’m an Aries so I’m addicted to people who are “trouble” for me. Fast forward to this year and i’m getting over a 5 year relationship, and this song couldn’t be a more perfect representation of what those first few weeks were like.

The story of 2020 for me was really trying to understand who I am and why I am this way and embracing it, and what I ended up with is a really eclectic group of songs, “trouble” being the first of those. i hope you enjoy.
