Look For Me

This album is dedicated to the miners affected by the 1912 fire, their families, and all involved in the rescue operation; also, the workers, especially the Maltese, who built the Lake Margaret Power Station, and the families who lived there over the ensuing decades. They have all made a vital contribution to West Coast History. Our sympathy to all the dead king billies, and gratitude to those which still live.

Matthew Dames is a seasoned street performer, performing frequently at Salamanca and other farmer and makers markets around the state. His performance has been described as a warm sensitive approach to songs by artists such as Tracy Chapman, Simon and Garfunkel and Dougi Maclean. Including originals from his debut album Cold Stars.

Matthew plays at the 3 steps on George, restaurant, every Wednesday from 6:45-8:45pm. Matthew has performed at Cygnet, the National and the Tamar Valley folk festivals. Matthew's Debut Album "Cold Stars" is due out in August. Matthew supported Daniel Champagne in June 2013 at the Royal Oak Hotel.
