This is an up-tempo, high-energy indie rock song, similar to artists like The Strokes and Tame Impala. 

The song is about feeling like you're wasting time. And the frustration of "time healing all wounds" feeling like a waste of time as you wait to get there. Ironically, as the song goes on lyrically, things get better. So it's a fight against wasting time that gets better with time lol

This song is a love song to the person you haven't met yet. It's the worry, the excitement, the melodrama, and eventually the resolution. It's more of a story than it is directly related to me, but I'm really happy with how it came out.
