What If The Moon Fell?

New year, new 90’s South Africa mix with a focus on the 93-96 era. Previous years I’ve released a Kwaito mix on @ctw-podcasts  & @averagerecordsbln . This year I release it on my own page under the project name ‘Jam City’ which draws inspiration, both in name & artwork, from the original Kwaito project releases like Dance City, Ripp City, Dancemaster and so on. This one features the Kwaito DJ Tools, vocal sample tunes, Shangaan Disco, Import Mixes, Bubblegum stars turned Kwaito and the more out of the box renditions from the early and best era. All released on my favorite labels, produced by my favorite producers and featured on my favorite projects. Lots of recent uploads of mine, future uploads that will eventually find their way to my channel and uploads by fellow diggers whom I highly regard.

This episode is partially an Alternate Session because originally, Zambian G'qom was supposed to be added into the mix, however "The Loxion Music Mix Show" is allotted for time on WESU (Wesleyan University Radio), which means that we could not add the Zambian G'qom portion of the mix to broadcast. 

Fortunately, we found a way to include the mix to feature on social media after it originally aired. For the first 30 minutes you will hear the program as it originally aired on WESU, but after, you will hear the mix featuring artists from the "Copper Belt Nation" such as Towela Kaira, Ice Kid Lowkey, Drey Spin, Razbeats, and more!!
