Self evading

I wait to see my wondering star
If I can recall her eyes
That change like hurricanes

When unrecognized and out of time

It's not what she could be
That'd keep me wanting her more
But what I've seen that slipped away

My heart must absorb the guilt

Including "Virtual Man" and "Waiting to Adore", "What Nobody Knows" would be the third song I have uploaded from the musical "Waiting to Adore" about multiple personalities and unconditional love..  Act 2 starts with "What Nobody Knows" and tells how the lead character has made the decision to let his heart absorb the guilt as he attempts to make them all happy and be the man of all their dreams until he begins to fall for the seemingly stable, newest manifestation of his wife's many personalities. There are many worse he could be cursed with but from this one his heart has lifted and so continues his efforts to maintain this secret and he will know what nobody knows if fate was ever his to control.........as he vows to never let them take her away.   Lyrics-

Through time I've seen 
Many She's been, 
But deem this one can be relied on
She doesn't seem to notice she's a mystery
But feels that I am
Or maybe she believes 
This life is just a dream we're both apart of
While caught between realities

Near Dawn (demo)

I decided one evening, while playing my guitar outside, that if I could not compete with the crickets making so much noise, I should join them. I then picked what I thought was the appropriate key and tempo and wrote this song to play with them. I can't help but wonder if, in fact, they were at all effected by my music and actually singing to me as much as I was playing for them. I would love to be able to isolate them more but as of yet have not found a way. It was going well till the rather abrupt ending, if you'll excuse me.
