Almost all compositions I do for Ultra Death Men start as MIDI files in Logic or Garageband, occasionally with help from Sibelius.
This is a track that I think is from 2011. We've practiced it, but never performed it live.

This track was made in the summer of 2014 as a test for two new pieces of equipment, as well as a gift for Christine.

The samples prominently used are from DJ Earl's "Hit Da Bootz" and ☆Ryu's "Ageha"

Heartthrob

After my operation in late Fall of 2014, when I finally was able to sit up again, I decided to write more music with the MU50 and the Alesis SR-16 (similar to 2013's Almond Milks composition "Lament of the Snow")

The concept behind the music was/is to create very blunt and happy songs about becoming a better person, influenced heavily by magical girl theme music.
This is not the complete song and the final will have vocals.

Composed on the Winter Solstice of 2014, using only Alesis SR-16 and Yamaha MU50 for all sounds and processing.

Part of an ongoing experiment to encourage new compositions without getting bogged down by sound design and the scope of possibilities enabled by having access to sounds in computer or my other hardware.
