A project I worked on for a private client. All original Music, Sound Design and Narration by me using a combination of foley, processed public domain found sounds, vst and live instruments and my own voice. Produced on Reaper.

The Alien

The theme tune to my podcast. Recorded using vsts, live instruments, and processed public domain sounds. The idea was to create a soundscape that brought to mind construction, invention and a mad scientists lab, combined with an upbeat and urgent musical theme. Inspiration included the Scrapheap Challenge and Mythbusters theme tunes.

PRPod Theme

A track commissioned by Sanspants Radio. We wanted this track to feel like it was the Goblins playing the tune, so the timing was left intentionally slightly wobbly and the instruments were processed with over-saturation and mid heavy EQ to imply an inexpert operator. I also used entirely household objects to create the percussion, including pots and pans, keys, a banister rail and my tool box.
