DnB Mix March 2022 | Gaff Party on RTÉ Pulse

This weekend we're bringing you some DnB for a change, with a very special b2b from Sloppie Joe and Matthew Wright. Resident m|ck kicks things off with 45 mins of Garage and Breaks, with the lads finishing out the 2 hour show.

Sloppie Joe aka Joey Carolan (26 Dublin) is no stranger to the underground bass scene in Dublin, having played, the likes of Hangar, the wiley fox, turks head, fibbers he knows his way around, back in 2016-18 he used to bang out dubstep and drum and bass throughout Dublin, its been a while but he's back now with a force.

Co founder of Crane Club he is determined to bring back drum and bass to the masses across Dublin with his fellow collective friends, expect a lot more from him in the future not just with drum and bass but house and garage.

Matthew Wright is a 23 year old Dublin-based DJ and another co-founder of Crane Club. Mainly taking inspiration from pioneers such as I Hate Models, DJ Heartstring and Hadone, Matthew's sound is primarily euphoric yet powerful techno beats, but he also enjoys the sub-heavy nature of various genres ranging from Breaks, Liquid DnB and UK Garage, to Hard Dance and Gabber, as well as the emotional melodies of Trance and EuroTech.

We've had Matthew on as a guest before and he delivered an impressive set full of breaks, techno, and trance. We're really looking forward to letting him showcase another side to his sound in this b2b.
