It was the famous Southport Weekender and I was lucky enough to go and witness some world class DJ's doing their thing..it truly was amazing,but the result meant that I couldn't do my usual show last Tuesday night(19/03/24) So instead...the Marvelous Mr Mark Coxon a fellow deep house DJ on the D3EP RADIO NETWORK stepped in on cover duty,and what a job he did..bringing you 2 hrs of the finest Deepness both old and new and truly capturing the essence of my show "The D3EP LOUNGE". Snowy peaks emerge from thick cloud cover, just like pointy kickdrums pierce dense plots of smooth chords and dubby synths. LAZIC019 explores high-altitude beats with London-based upcoming artist FLORENTIA and her debut EP, which comes enriched by two remixes by equally talented Andrew Azara (Cecille) and Brad Brunner (Take Notes).

A rising talent on the electronic music circuit with standout performances at Paradise and elrow, FLORENTIA has been on a roll with quality cuts on Circus Recordings and elrow music, among others, and she's now touching moon ground with two elegant, driving minimal tech productions. Title track 'I Found You' marches steadily cool with hypnotic energy and trippy rolling drums, while 'Need No Man' rolls with slinky grooves, bubbling bassline, and catchy vocals that set the tone for echoing stabs to shine flawlessly. Rounding out the package, Andrew Azara offers one of his exquisite trademark full-bodied grooves for a magnificent, late-night ballad, while Brad Brunners keeps things nice and tight with a percussive, stripped-back version.

HI! I've been an underground house music dj since 1994. I've played all over the US. I've lived in Knoxville, TN, Atlanta, GA, Kansas City, MO, and now San Diego, CA. While in Kansas City, I was lucky enough to work with DeepFix Records. Not only were we a household name for underground house from 2001-2007, we threw a crazy sick party called Frisky with all of our favorite Djs ; Derrick Carter, Luke Solomon, Mark Farina, Diz, Wally Callerio, DJ Sneak, Hector Moralez, DJ Heather, Miles Maeda... you get the picture. Since then, I've been lucky enough to become friends with some of them and play along side them many more times. They also play my tunes! I've been producing since 2001.  I've been on a bunch of cool labels like Kolour Recordings, Sampled Detroit, and Greenhouse Recordings. in 2008 Uriah West(one of the coolest guys in the world, and one of my best friends) and I started Audio Indika. It's a house music label focusing on quality, not quantity. We've put out tracks by Forrest Avery(The guy that invented the NWMC), John Hawley, Wally Callerio, Frankie J, and a whole bunch of dope underground artists. Right now you can catch me every Friday at The Air Conditioned Lounge in San Diego, and on other nights, different cities across the country.
