Masterfully rewoven and reedited by man of the moment Hardwell, Mark Knight and Funkagenda’s anthemic ‘Man With The Red Face’ has been reinterpreted into a fizzing big room, high energy mix crafted to fill the largest and loudest festival arenas. 

A monumental track in the history of Toolroom Records, Mark Knight and Funkagenda’s cover of Laurent Garnier’s ‘Man With The Red Face’ cemented the label’s position in the dance music scene, winning ‘Best Ibiza Track 2008’ at Pacha’s Ibiza DJ Awards and Beatport’s ‘Best Tech House Track of 2008’.

Since his first EP with Toolroom back in 2010, the synergy between Hardwell and the label has grown into a fruitful pairing that has laid witnessed to the chart topping single ‘Three triangles (Losing My Religion)’ and various appearance for the Toolroom parties that have spread around the world including a guest slot at the their former residency at Space in Ibiza.

With strong support by Radio 1 in Ibiza and having just scored #1 in the Buzz Chart, this Hardwell remix of ‘Man With The Red Face’ is set to soar to the top demonstrating the timeless qualities of this scene classic.

ladies and gentlemen, here it is.

i gave out this record back in february for free.. couldn't have been more astonished with the mayhem that followed. a while ago i was approached with the idea of broadening the horizons of the track, releasing it on beatport and spreading it further and further into the hands of djs and listeners.

i actually didn't like the idea of re-releasing it on a label.. i thought that you guys would think i was doing it for the money, or something even more cheap and materialistic.. never would i ever do this

my intentions are clear with this release, i'd love to see how it can go in the rest of the world. take deorro - yee for example - released for free on his facebook page, then later approached by hardwell to release it on his label. like myself, deorro was skeptical.. the track went on to crack the top 5

you guys have been with me along this journey from the start, and i would be over the moon if you could support the track, grab a copy and spread the love.

So what happens when you take perfection, like lets say Nina Agdal and put Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough on top of her... Perfect x 2... Initially I was making a metaphor as to how our remix made this even better, but in retrospect this just sounds really cocky... so our bad.. just enjoy the remix, its very fun!"

Quickie from us: Well we love Adventure club and have admired them for a long time. the guys are personable, make great music and are pretty good looking... In many ways we feel we are the same haha jokes, but Adventure were one of the few artists who reached out to us when we started and were cool and supported our music, so when they hit us up about remixing Wonder our fav track off their last album we couldn't resist, that and we want to collab with them so we really had no other option. That said, we think the remix turned out great, we actually see a little bits of our previous work in it, little nods to Around us and Julian. In the end we hope we did the track justice infusing it with a tasteful amount of uptempo progressive house while still remaining true to our style."

Its why we think her vocals always do so well with dance music. Holding onto Heaven was definitely a fun challenge for us to remix. The original is very far from a dance track and we wanted to think out of the box and do something unusual with the vocal. Additionally there were so many cinematic parts to the song to use particularly the string. In our remix you will here some vocal transposing that we think adds this very strange but unique edge that cuts through. Yves V returns to the studio to answer the clamour for a follow up on his last massive release with Freddy See on Armada 6K. This time the fast rising DJ/Producer has gone back to the “Oldschool Sound,” and create a rave anthem of the same name which is laced with a heavy dose of acid. Having built a heady reputation as a lead resident for infamous festival Tomorrowland, Yves V has over the past years been taking on all comers as he has exported his unique brand of big room house across the planet. Off the back of a number of major releases and having received support from some of the scenes influencers including Pete Tong, Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas & like Mike, Afrojack and Tiësto amongst many others.

Having enjoyed an outstanding year, Alesso certainly isn’t resting on his laurels as it starts to draw to a close.
