BIOGRAPHY:
Martin Kovár, also known as Matthew, is a hardtechno artist from Malacky – Slovakia. He was born on January 1993 and is a productive part of an young hardtechno generation. He began to play in 2006 in the age of 13 and through all the years he performed in countries such as Venezuela, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Hungary, Belgium, Switzerland, Netherlands, Austria, Germany, Croatia, Slovenia, Czech Republic and his homeland – Slovakia. Matthew performed side by side with the majority of leading hardtechno djs and also at festivals such as Elements Festival (BE), Impakt Festival (VZL), Liberty White (BE), Apokalypsa (CZ), Technoflights (VZL), USB Festival (DE), Svojsice (CZ), Beats 4 Love (CZ), Road To ECO Festival (SLO) and many others. Crazy show, fast mixing and powerful communication with the crowd are typical features of his strong performance.
Beside the mixing he is an active producer as well. In 2009 his first EP was released and in 2010 he estabilished his own digital label Young Blood Records. As a producer he cooperated with many well known names of an actual period (Instigator, Sepromatiq, Arkus P., Withecker, Psychodrums etc.).
In 2013 his own agency The Young Blood was estabilished. Besides the publishing work, the agency also involves activities connected with the booking of some very talented artists, organization of events and parties at all. Since this very year he also acts as Locomativ (4 decks, 2 mixers, effectors), the new project formed by Matthew and a belgian guy Mattias Bulik ‘aka Dualizers.
