Recorded Live at Arco Isis Sanctuary, a 2 hr set from 2am-4am for 45 of our workers as they poured a massive foundation for our temple.  We celebrated in the morning with Guatemalan soup and rice!  It was a buen experiencia!!!

Live at Arco Isis Sanctuary, Lake Atitlan, Guatemala 11/21/2020

This was such an incredible set at sunset on the last day of the Embodiment dance festival 2021!  It was such an incredible experience to play for such an electric crowd right on the Tzunana river, and even though the subs went out twice (and came back on twice!) It was one of my favorite sets I've ever played!

Not in the recording is Conga Kurty who played live percussion accompaniments and made for an overall incredible experience!

The mix starts off pretty downtempo and dreamy, as I had played an ambient set that rolled into the more high energy vibes!  At about 30 minutes it takes a switch into beautiful bass drops and wobbles!

Live At Embodiment Ecstatic Dance Festival 1/3/2021

Recorded live on a radical rally of colorful costumed merrymakers on a pink party boat touring around for the sunset along Lake Atitlan, Guatemala!

This is one of my best mixes to date!  I applied a lot of mixing intricacies that I hadn't yet until this live set!!  Enjoy this mix way better than it sounded on the failing speakers during the actual event!

This is a tropical bass, psychedelic surfer rock-inspired, cumbia infused silly trap- latin and afrobeat set designed for tripping on the beach at sunset in a tropical paradise,  sailing a pirate ship with your mates with no hands- or riding a giant pink flamingo in the pool while your friends sip Margaritas and dance at sun down!

Whatever you do with this mix, stay hydrated with plenty of coconuts and wear a life jacket if you are going in the deep end!  Enjoy!!

Matthew is heavily influenced by world dance, medicine music, and west coast bass music.  He currently plays weekly ecstatic dances at different locations in Lake Atitlan, Guatemala.
