Make Me A Pallet (Mississippi John Hurt cover) with Nat Langston

Inspired by a Kafka short story called "The Bucket Rider." In the story its winter and this dude goes begging for coal but they can't even see the poor guy. This music is what I imagined he saw as he flew away to the ice mountains on his empty coal bucket. I converted the letters of the text into a musical scale! Hell ya.

This is a -Hymir's Kettle- song inspired a certain medieval-fantasy realm - that of the Midlands to be exact. terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth books (which were the inspiration for the Legend of the Seeker tv-series) were the basis of this song. The Wizard's Keep in Aydindril is an immense and intimidating fortress of sorcery dark and light.. etc etc.. read the books yourself ;)
