Matthew on the Rocks is an electronic dance music producer/DJ from El Paso Texas.  According to club owner Melissa Mitchell, “Matthew on the Rocks has a complex, yet unique approach to his music.  It’s captivating and intriguing to hear the choices of genres he chooses to compile, and it’s unlike anything I’ve ever heard, from any other DJ, in my personal experience. He is talented and consistent in the ability to leave his listeners wanting more.”

Currently Matthew is working on his very own original dance music compositions, which will we available on major online music retailers in the fall.  With the anticipation of these releases, he is also seeking a permanent DJ residency at a nightclub to help aid in the promotion of his music, and give listeners a chance to see him work live.

As a producer, Matthew on the Rocks has had the privilege of honing his craft at the prestigious Full Sail University.  His attention to musicality and sonic quality definitely separate him from the rest of the pack. 

 As a DJ, he has had more than 5 years of real world experience, playing intimate private parties and large venues to nightclubs such as: Buchanan’s Event center, 1914 Lounge, The Brick & Mortar, M Bar, Amuse restaurant, Loft Light Studio, The Tool Box, Lips Lounge, and Crave.  Matthew has also been a contributing writer within his own industry by writing articles for DJ Tech Tools and Digital DJ Tips.
