Honestly, it's not quite as heavy, intense, or full-blown crazy awesome as some of my other dubstep, but I think you gotta admit--it's a pretty solid vocal dubstep song (if I do say so myself).

I had multiple people tell me I should enter this remix contest, and although the vocals and song style weren't anything near my normal sound, I thought they were good quality (and great lyrics!!) and good material to work with, so I gave it a shot. This is another one of those "make-it-all-in-one-sitting" remixes. Probably took me about 5 1/2 hours or so. I really like the randomness of all the sounds in this song. It has some serious variety, from "epic" to "funky" to "hip-hoppy" and beyond. So I hope you like it! I sure had a fun time on this unique song!

Story behind the remix:

So this guy named Twilight Meadow (I'm a big fan of this fella) totally wanted me to do a remix (some of you who know some certain things will laugh out loud right about now), and I was like, "Seeing as I'm such a big fan of this guy, I might as well do a remix." And this track was just ASKING for some really pretty, solid Melodic Dubstep. I think what I came up with here is nothing short of.....well, pretty cool. So I hope you can feel the feels that I tried to pour into in this track! While I'm here, I gotta say, man I LOVE Twilight Meadow's voice and producing and writing and pretty much everything. It's so totally my style! ;)

EDIT: My remix got taken down from the contest by Indaba, because I had also uploaded the remix on Youtube and Soundcloud (which apparently is against the rules--I specifically read the rules, but it must have been in vague contract-ese), and although I then took those uploads down and Indaba allowed me to re-upload my remix in the contest, I pretty much lost any chance of winning, since my remix then had no plays and no votes and was lost in a sea of 500+ remixes. Not gonna lie, I'm having a hard time not being mad about it. I think I had a legit chance of winning.
