The instrumental tracks for this song were recorded the day after a magical gig with my friends Danielle LoPresti and Alicia Champion.  I almost left it as a purely instrumental track, but it kept nagging at me...needed words.  How to encapsulate the inspiration I found, in those two crusaders for social justice...and how all of our struggles for social change and acceptance of all people is driven forward by those who dare to push the conversation forward.  Hopefully, that comes across.  Thanks for listening. :-)

This was a creative challenge, to see what I could do with only 7 Eurorack modules in a skiff:  FLXS, Rings, Plaits, Veils, Monsoon, Nebulae, and Chords

All I See Is Red

This was an improvisation I did a few weeks ago...luckily, Cubase was recording.  I hadn't realized it at the time, but this was written the day after John Lewis passed away.  After consideration of how this music flowed out - with no real thought at the time, other than "these notes want to be played" - I might chalk it up to the Universe sending me a message.  Perhaps it was an echo of Mr. Lewis's life, in notes tinged with longing, sadness, melancholy, but a current of hope pushing it along.  In your honor, Sir, I humbly offer this song as an epitaph, where words fail.
