In July, Diana Azzuz (@dianaazzuz) releases ”Anastrophe” on Standard Deviation, including remixes by M.E.S.H. (@m-e-s-h) with a new alias ”eea” (Extreme Energy Availability) and Swan Meat (@swanmeat). It’s the first solo project by the Kyiv based multidisciplinary artist, following her collaborative audiovisual release ”Sui Noxa” from October last year. Givenchy AW14 Show Soundtrack by The Martinez Brothers

This music was created for the Gareth Pugh Monolith installation at Selfridges. Created with the department store to mark Pugh’s first appearance on the London Collection: Men’s schedule, Monolith takes you on a virtual reality journey, visually immersing you into the world of Pugh’s menswear collections. The two-metre tall chamber is located in Menswear on the store’s first floor, and is ‘part art installation, part futuristic fashion film and part fairground ride’. The project was brought to life by East London creatives Inition, with a soundtrack by Matthew Stone. The installation serves as a preview to the mid-January launch of Selfridges’ first store-wide creative concept of 2014, The Festival of Imagination, which celebrates the world’s most inspiring innovators, creatives and architects.

Foreshadowing the audiovisual album ”Sui Noxa”, Standard Deviation releases the single ”Now And Then” by Diana Azzuz & Rina Priduvalova. Out now!

Sui Noxa (”one’s loss”, lat.) is the audiovisual collaboration of the Kyiv based, interdisciplinary artists and the second release on Standard Deviation, an ofspring of ∄, the new club project from Kyiv.

Within the video project, Sui Noxa brings a closer look on the common neglect of self-responsibility in the digital age, and the causes it upholds to those, who may try to abuse the freedom within an artificial reality. Eventually, it narrates a story on how actions in the digital world reflect back on our behavior in the real world - and holds up the black mirror right in front of our face.
