Growing up amongst the electronic sound invasion of the UK in the late 80's Matt went on to be a key player to pirate radio stations that were broadcasting through the airwaves over London in the 90's & 2000's that were pushing the genre boundaries of electronic music and been part of the infamous Best Of British raves at 'Bagley's Film Studios’ and many cladenstein basements around London, amongst these credentials he was a key host on Londons premier underground station LIFE FM
During this era Matt was an original hedonistic on the white isle of Ibiza cementing himself as part of the furntiture that would then go on to be a global sensation & clubbers paradise
In todays modern day he still holds many Residencies at the likes of  BLOOP LONDON RADIO, CYP, DISTINCT, FÖRM, SHUVT.RESONANCE & RAZOR EVENTS aswell as holding a Bachelors Of Arts & Honours In Music Production, some even say it was DC-10 & Circoloco legend Clive Henry that learnt him his trade 
This mix is an absolute masterclass from a veteran of what started the prop up of what our underground scene is today

Here is the 358th chapter of the Deep Electronics serie. Released every two weeks the serie brings you a diversity into the abyss of deep electronic music. This week Matt Timms makes his debut with a two hour long travel into dubtechno and dubtechno inspired tracks. Take the trip and enjoy!

Bio:
Matt Timms has been mixing since the early 90s everywhere from playing U.K Garage on Pirate Radio on the airwaves over London to playing the massive rave institution which was Bagleys Film Studios. Later becoming a key resident in the northeast of England with Apparition collective regularly delivering fresh new sounds to the seaside town of Cleethorpes & beyond. Matt draws influences from nearly every genre of electronic music and beyond initially getting into everything listening to acid house in the late 80s and being exposed to many genres through pirate radio. Over the last year, he's also started heavily focusing on production creating a variety of grooving and minimal tunes, and has now got his own monthly music show on Bloop Radio London.

Matt Timms first came across electronic music in the mid to late 80’s when he would sit and listen to his father’s Kraftwerk vinyl’s. Move forwards after decades of submerging himself and Dj’ing in the underground scene, he decided to start production of the music he loves. With releases on labels such as Microgarden Lab, Chemical Records, Shuvt.Resonance and Mint Trax, Matt is firmly on his way to pushing his sounds into the ears of the underground scene.

This mix consists of ambient, dubby minimal to help switch off for an hr or so whatever you are doing…enjoy✌️

Madloch's Crossfade Sounds welcomes Dott. Santafeo back to the label for the seocnd remix sampler of his debut album that got released last year "Basileo Regolo Re Di Biss". For the remixes Konomo,LLLIT, Noosa Sound System and Ciornei got invited. Leonardo Patrizi aka Dott. Santafeo is a DJ, producer, live performer and sound designer. Perhaps best known for his deep and dubby take on techno, the Civita Castellana resident has never been an artist bound by traditional genre classifications, having freely experimented with many different forms of electronic music along the way. Having first emerged in 2020 with an EP via Organica Sound, Dott. Santafeo was then quickly regarded for his dubbed out beats, glacial designs and evolving atmospheric storyboards. Projects for Apnea Label, ChessBoard Music, Sense Label, Zero Signal Records and more followed across the next calendar year, further establishing Dott as a rising talent. Also a highly regarded DJ, the Italian has been a fixture of his country's nightlife for the last decade, delighting crowds at some of the country's trendiest venues, while still choosing vinyl as the primary means to translate his message to the dance floor.

Genning is back for his second-round appearance on the Mood Series. Having first made his debut back in 2020, he now returns to us with 'Evening Space'. 6 pieces that embraces the house roots within dub techno. 6 examples of tracky workouts for every special moment in nightlife. 'Asteroid' leads things off on the EP with a body-shaking club mover. This flighty hike through the upper atmosphere midway takes an emotional break for deepness before riding off in style. A prime cut for any DJ looking to shift the set into a deeper one while 'Sent to Sky' and 'Own Escape' are a bit more grittier tracks that are adding some nice house touches throughout. 'Third One' also extends towards more house moods yet still strides firmly in the dub techno category. This pick gives all of us an appreciation for the classy sounds reminiscent to the early 2000's. 'Sunset' speeds things up for the later evening with pure intentions for prime real estate workouts on the dancefloor. This is such a house banger and we especially dig the smooth breakdown towards the end. 'Ship' wraps it all in a bow with a wonderful and memorable ending. 'Evening Space' has so many great moments. Any house or techno fan is sure to give this EP lots of attention and play. You can't go wrong with anything here. It's all fun and smiles with just a touch of deepness. Check this out! The atmosphere of this EP is a blend of mystical dance minimalism, slightly danceable, a bit trippy, and it aligns well with our label's concept. Although, judging by the sound, this collection seems to be devoid of commercial prospects.
