The title is a synthesis of the Buddhist term "Ilumination" for enlightenment and the name of  the german author "Luhmann". Before I became Buddhist in 2008 I admired the german author N. Luhmann for his deep insights into the human mind. I quoted two of his sentences (Luhmann 1997, 15)

Bio:

An Alex Volta führt in München aktuell kein Weg vorbei. Innerhalb weniger Jahre hat er in der Szene in seiner Heimatstadt bereits bemerkenswerte Wellen geschlagen und ihr seinen ganz eigenen Stempel aufgedrückt. In seinen Sets vermischen sich Afro House, Indie Dance und Melodic Techno zu einem unverwechselbaren Sound, der auch schon international Aufmerksamkeit erregt hat.
Auch kulturell engagiert sich der Münchner kräftig - zum Beispiel als Mitbegründer des Sound Salon, einer DJ- und Producer-Community, die aufstrebenden Künstler*innen eine Plattform zum Lernen, zum Austausch und für erste Performances bietet.
Sein "Melodic Tribal Techno" hört man langsam aber sicher auf immer mehr Club- und Festival-Bühnen Deutschlands und darüber hinaus, und das ist erst der Anfang dieser vielversprechenden Geschichte. Unbedingt reinhören!

Ein Track wie ein leuchtender Atemzug aus dem Zwischenraum der Wälder.

“Schmetterling” öffnet sich langsam – ein glitzernder Synth-Flügelschlag, der im ersten Takt wie Morgentau im Unterholz vibriert. Die Basslinie schwebt nicht, sie gleitet organisch, warm und pulsierend wie Lichtadern unter Moos.

Die Melodien falten sich Schicht um Schicht auf, als würden zwei Falter einander im Rhythmus einer kreisenden Energiefigur umkreisen. Jeder Break wirkt wie ein kleiner Sprung in eine neue Ebene, jedes Build-Up wie ein Flimmern zwischen neonartigen Akzenten und tiefer Waldstimmung.

Der Drop kommt nicht hart, sondern befreiend – ein Aufleuchten und Ansteigen.
Die Stimmung bleibt ruhig, klar, kräftig und zugleich treibend.

Ein Stück für Nächte, in denen blauer Nebel schimmert und die Seele frei atmen soll.

Dutch duo Esteble aka Joep Esseling & Bram Harmsen made their first Anjunadeep appearance with ‘Passage’, the opening track to last Autumn’s iTunes Dance #1 compilation ‘Anjunadeep 07’. ‘Passage’ now sees a release on the pair’s full label debut, the diverse ‘Feathers EP’ featuring four tracks showcasing their intricate composition and deft melodic touch.

The EP opens with ‘Feathers’ a brooding electronic gem, weaving delicate melodies with clever instrumentalism, above a warm textured bassline. ‘Passage’ is a fine example of the duo’s raw organic sound, a skilled soundscape layering soft melodies with natural elements.

Next up ‘The Walk’, an upbeat cinematic groover with as much dynamism as the title would suggest. Closing off the EP ‘Soaring’ is a more dance floor minded production with a stripped back feel combining slick percussive elements with interspersed arpeggios.
