The boss is back home! And as you'd expect from Hernan, its jam packed full of goodness. This collection of gems are all new versions of tracks that were used and made for Hernan's Balance CD, all freshly updated for you lovely Sudbeat fans.

So lets get to it, and we kick of with James Teej superb rework of 'Into The Edge' from Hernan & Soundexile. James has recently been in the studio with Timo Mass to remix Paul McCartney. We'll let that sink in a minute while you realise how big a deal that is...! James remix has Big bass, emotive chords and tinkling melodies that combine beautifully here creating rather large rework of epic proportions, with a tad of melancholy thrown in for good measure.

Rising start Khen takes controls next, and with his recent works on Plattenbank, microCastle and Lost & Found, its no wonder this likeable chap is causing a bit of a fuss. This intense melodic gem subtly grabs your attention along its mesmerising voyage before its devastatingly cool key changes raise the temperature even hotter on this damn fine remix.

Hernan Cattaneo & Soundexile - Lunar (Simon Vuarambon Interpretation) is our next port of call. Simon is a Sudbeat favourite and makes a welcome return working his magic on Lunar. This rework is a sophisticated del journey that undulates and teases, with alight eastern vibe, this musical workout is a lesson in restraint in the studio.

And another Sudbeat favourite, Mike Griego remixes Hernan Cattaneo & Guy Mantzur - Imaginarium, and takes this in to a hypnotic territory, that locks you in to its magical spell, encapsulating your mind, while its tension builds and the track develops beautifully. A solid dance floor workout rounds of this package superbly.

Dustin Nantais makes his long awaited return to Manual Music after delivering one of the labels' biggest releases of last year with 'Apathy'.

The Toronto based artist delivers two delightful new tracks, kicking things off with the title track 'Last Legs'. A lovely piece of blissful dance floor euphoria that sits nicely in the middle of progressive melodic house and a more bigroom kinda sound. Sure to be dropped at many festivals this summer season!

On remix duties we welcome Argentinian rising star Emi Galvan on board, after already having released material by him on our MNL label. He brings that percussion driven South American touch which we love so much, and gives 'Last Legs' a whole different feel. Groovy!

The second original is titled 'The More You Do' and is a bit deeper and moody when compared to the opening track. The infectious bassline gently takes you on yet another trip to dreamland as the strings and arpeggiators get introduced subtly along the way. Proper emo vibes here!

Always end the thing with a bang we thought, so we asked Matan Caspi to remix 'The More You Do' and the result is nothing short of stunning! The Outta Limits label boss truly delivers on of his best remixes to date here with a driving chunky percussion fueled interpretation. Proper peak time dance floor madness right here!

Two great originals by Dustin Nantais topped off by two strong interpretations by Emi Galvan and Matan Caspi. What more can one ask for?

Dustin Nantais - Last Legs (Emi Galvan Remix)

Kay-D also known as Krisztian Kajdi, was born in July 1978, in Ajka, Hungary. His interest to music dated back to his childhood, when he went to the conservatorie for 3 years, and played trumpet. In the early ’90s he started to be interested in electronic music, he was inspired by mostly german rave and trance genres. At his age of 10 Krisztian started to compose music with a small vintage synthesizer, later he bought a Nord Lead 2, and composed lot of melodies, still without any sequencer. He had been working a lot with his nephew, the famous Hungarian producer, Karanyi. In 2002-2003 they composed some tracks together, and appeared as a live act together, in the most popular clubs in Budapest. After a long pause, in 2007 was a turning point in his music carrier when he got to know the newest DAW’s and he started to compose music again. His first EP was released at CLS Music in March 2008. In 2009 he joined to Mistiquemusic label and subscribed an exclusive contract for his originals. His first artist album „Source Of Miracles” was released in 15 th february 2010, which were followed two more albums, „Ways To My Soul”, and „Sapphire”. In the following years he composed more than 300 EP’s and remixes and appeared in several compilations. In 2010 he started a radioshow „Lost Continents” on Pure.Fm, which ended in july 2017, now he is co-host at Mindfields Radioshow in FriskyRadio. He started DJ-ing also in 2010, he was on a DJ tour in Czech Republic, and played at several clubs in Budapest. His music can be easily recognized, from his typical melodic, athmospheric progressive style.

Of the many collaborative pairings within the electronic music scene, Gavin Griffin and Matty Doyle continually impress. As the pair return to Proton Music once more under their GMJ and Matter monikers, Proton Music is proud to announce the release of the "Interscope" EP.

Hugely successful artists in their own rights, "the spatial atmospheres and organic rhythms" that epitomise the GMJ sound, saw him nominated as one of 2016's "Best Progressive House Artists". Work for Particles, Balkan Connection and Open Records bear witness to such a statement, as do October 2017's "Sovereign Reality" EP for Proton Music and March 2018's "22" with Hungarian star, East Café. Similarly, Matter's "deep synth lines, driving bass and pulsating rhythms" have provided him with a host of production credits for the likes of Superordinate Music, Balkan Connection and Mistique Music, while December 2016's "Pronoia" and November 2017's "We Are Dust" EPs showcased a wealth of talent on Proton Music.

Together, the Melbourne based duo have seen their work hit some of the finest modern underground imprints, most notably with "Earthless" part of the fourth "Anjunadeep Explorations" series in September 2017. Joining forces for two original EPs on Proton Music, May 2016's "Superposition" and June 2017's "Osmosis" highlighted the distinctive GMJ and Matter sound, while a standout remix of Andre Sobota's "Unmute" at 2017's end represented another side to the pair's production arsenal.

Welcoming the Australian collaborative pairing back to Proton Music for a third outing, GMJ and Matter now return with the "Interscope" EP. A seismic kick drum and delicate percussive cadence form the bedrock for the title track as a trademark cavernous bassline gently pulsates through the low-end. Evolving effortlessly, an arpeggiated riff appears, hypnotically skipping across the track while a series of textured pads add depth in abundance. Emotive chord progressions supply spine-tingling energy that make their presence felt in a sonically inspiring breakdown sequence, before dance-floor rhythms return in the third movement with a host of counterpoint motifs, swirling effects and expertly crafted production details.

The partner track sees, "To the Stars" immediately scintillate with its shaker-fuelled percussion and forceful four-to-the-floor kick. An intricately programmed rhythmic cadence provides the perfect vehicle for a subterranean bassline to appear with maximum impact as it drives the track forwards with ease. Shimmering melodic sequences complement the rhythmic patterns in an arpeggio sequence that pitches and falls in a rousing third movement zenith. Multi-faceted pads and vocal phrasing complement the core melodies creating Laurentian Abyss-like depth, as the track transcends the modern progressive house sound with genuine craft and talent.

A rare breadth of talent sees "Interscope" forged from GMJ and Matter's white-hot creative furnace.

The 83rd release on Nikko.Z's Dopamine Music welcomes Simos Tagias back to the label for a brand new EP entitled 'Revolt'. The Greek artist has been one of his country's brightest stars in progressive house with a discography that features releases on Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music, Proton Music and Sound Avenue. It has been a quiet year for Simos thus far with just a lone EP and one remix to his credit, thus making his latest project all the more anticipated. For an artist whose groovy, progressive minded creations are renowned by both his fans and contemporaries, Simos may have raised the bar yet again with 'Revolt'. From its astral beginnings you're immediately captivated as tight beats, finely tuned percussion and rhythmic waves converge for the ultimate fluid framework. Spacey yet emotive, the main break shifts the narrative with a buzzing crescendo, perfectly setting up a third act of symphonic overlays, rounding out the nine minute journey. The companion piece 'Pothos' is equally stunning with its buoyant beats and drummy, techno inspired groove. Setting a dramatic tone from the outset, effects fire through the framework before a phasing theme sparks a dynamic moment as the main break commences. Perhaps going down as one of the Greek artists most colossal interludes, waves of white noise blanket an epic lead line, converging for the ultimate sonic moment as the beats drop and your taken away into an epic finale.
