Originally "Back in the Days" released in 2004 on Resopal Schallware marked Tigerskin as a torchbearer for pop-oriented groovy House, reviving the raw energy of early 90s bleeps, swung beats, and untamed dance floor spirit but transforming it with the technical possibilities of the early 00s into his trademark romantic vision.

From the pulse of “Dance Now” to the cringey charm of “Party in My Car,” Tigerskin proved that Back in the Days was more than a look backward - it was a bridge between era's: a reminder that the roots of club culture still grow, still breathe, still move people.

Two decades on, this re‑release doesn’t just bring back nostalgia - it reminds us that reminiscing every once in a while can push creativity. The album and a few EPs around it were the start of a pretty different approaches to club music for Tigerskin, that led to several big tracks and remixes, some now considered to be classics by many. 

The three formerly unreleased and slightly more club-oriented bonus tracks had been recorded the same year but were amongst many that didn’t make it to the album.

London’s dancefloors have been feeling the pulse of a producer who thrives on eclecticism and groove. Blending disco, italo, house, and psychedelic flourishes, Josh Ludlow has carved a distinct space as both a solo artist and as one half of the duo Make A Dance, co-founders of M.A.D Records. His releases on respected labels like Toy Tonics or Nocturne show a playful yet polished approach, where hypnotic basslines meet cosmic textures and 80s-tinged flair.

The MindwayS EP introduced his versatility, while New Transition and Push It Up! cemented his reputation as a producer able to balance underground appeal with wide dancefloor energy.

With support from heavyweight DJs and a growing global audience, his trajectory suggests an artist unafraid to bend genres, celebrate nostalgia, and reimagine it for the present.

Special set for Episode 15 — first dropped last summer at our private Sodium party, had a few little tech issues that night. Ran it back at home for this radio show a few weeks ago with some fresh bombs added in. Straight up, no shame - full-on peak time vibes, planned out, samples and references all over the place. Made to bring the whole fam together that night. The dance floor was packed from 20 to 60. Playing at night in front of your own kids and your oldest crew in a house going wild, no cops until 6am, and enough ice all night for cocktails.

Was all about mixin’ the old and the young, keep everybody on the floor. Droppin’ Mr Fries for the old headz, Cardi B to keep the kids vibin' shoutout to Ralph Session. Played “You’re a Star,” hands down the dopest disco track ever, remixed this year by Brass Lamp. Hit up some tunes from Kold Kutz, “Soirée” a disco banger on Blur Records, old Fiasco track mashed with a new bomb from Manuel Costela, a smooth, deep landing with Hermit… Everything needed to show what we love and prove House Music don’t give a damn about generations.
