The Belgian-French duo Sylphomatic has been making its way for 2 years with great releases on the best labels of the indie-dance / dark-disco scene.  
These two old pals are part of that generation of creators who are not afraid to cross their music to create and play an exciting new sound. If you need a potion to get you tripping on the dancefloor, Sylphomatic has the recipe to take you on an endless journey.
Drawing from their passion for clubbing, Sylphomatic add a shamanic dimension to the mix. These modern-day dancefloor gurus want to take you on a love-bound, trancelike journey.

Late 2019, this Brussels-based duo decided to combine all their favorite flavors of electronic music with a trippy vibe. Absorbing sounds from every corner of the world, specifically vanguard artists such as Rebolledo and his Pachanga Boys, the two old pals started creating dance music that would speak to the universe.
From there, things moved fast. Famed Belgian DJ and producer The Magician took them under his wing, adding his production touch to their debut EP and signing them to his own Potion Records. Because they remain DJs at heart, Sylphomatic continue meanwhile to create hour-long tribute mixes to their favorite artists and share their latest tracklists in their Kosmik Disko  Klub.

Middle of summer has arrived and with it a fresh and hot new mixtape from one out of our very own town Basel – mohn! 

Maximilian, originally from Luzern, is a young, kind, enthusiastic musician and fashion designer, a true artist by heart. His musical style is most accuratly described as diverse – going from downtempo and house to more acid and breaky tunes. Today he is gifting us with another unique creation of his: an uplifting dance mix; generating the feeling of being right on a wild and sweaty dancefloor.

Behind LOKD Doors 31 – mohn

Willkommen auf dem bezaubernden "Acker" zwischen Bensheim und Heppenheim, einem Ort voller Magie und Musik. 
Am Freitag, den 8. September 2023, hat Matthias Lumpy  die Decks übernommen und eine unvergessliche Nacht voller pulsierender Beats und mitreißender Melodien geschaffen.

Diese Nacht war mehr als nur eine musikalische Reise – sie war eine Hommage an die langjährige Freundschaft zwischen ihm und OKT, der den Acker in liebevoller Obhut kultiviert. Sie verbindet eine tiefe Freundschaft, und diese Nacht war ein weiteres Mal, ein beiderseitiges Dankeschön für all die gemeinsame Zeit.

Matthias Lumpy Vollrath, der Künstler hinter den Beats, ist bekannt für seine einzigartige Fähigkeit, Musik und Emotionen in Einklang zu bringen. Sein Set führte uns durch Höhen und Tiefen, brachte uns zum Tanzen und ließ uns in Momenten der Stille versinken. Eine musikalische Reise, die noch lange in unseren Herzen nachhallen wird.

Ein besonderer Dank auch dem ultimativen Tänzer „Sepp“ aus Erfurt, der die Nacht und besonders den Morgen mit seiner unglaublichen Energie und tänzerischen Künsten bereichert hat. 
Diese Nacht war nicht nur ein Event – sie war eine Gemeinschaftsfeier, eine Feier der Musik und der Freundschaft.

Dank an alle, die Teil dieser magischen Nacht waren. Möge diese Aufnahme noch viele weitere Nächte erhellen und uns auf Reisen durch die Welt der Klänge mitnehmen.
