The tune that got me past the ASCII to the jewel within

I picture my mining dwarves toiling away in the depths of that procedurally-generated mathematical crust beneath fractal landscapes of forests and the elves in them- sweat mingling with soil and stone striking the earth, while abovehead their comrades drink away the day's worries, carpenters saw wood in their workshops, masons cut up blocks of rocks, and fisherdwarves come in with today's fresh supply of water-animals. Ah, that fresh earthen smell of summer dawn!

tfw people talk about how this game looks confusing because it's in "ascii". What's that? All I see are trees, some rock, and my dwarves hard at work.
