Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike have gone head to head with Cologne based house upstart Klaas for a radio edit of MATTN and Futuristic Polar Bears brilliant ‘Café Del Mar 2016’. The track, available for preview March 21st across Spotify, Deezer and Apple Music, and also available for pre-order on ITunes, sees the original elevated to new heights with an arena sized mix by the Smash the House bosses. The track will be available as part of the ‘Café Del Mar 2016’ bundle, released on April 4th and featuring a selection of different mixes and edits. An official video will be also be released on March 28th, that will surely have fans waiting with baited breath.

This inimitable radio edit features Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s distinctive progressive sound combined with the groove laden bassline of the original, whilst Klaas’s heavy duty beats synergise perfectly with the track’s rousing vocals. MATTN and Futuristic Polar Bears remain the stars of the show however, and their combined talents ensure ‘Café Del Mar 2016’ has the strong foundations for their megastar editors to work their magic on. A colossal, ethereal, and ground-shaking dance anthem, both the original and this radio mix are sure to be staples of sets all year round. 

‘Café Del Mar 2016’ looks set to be one of the hits of the summer, with its dancefloor ready melodies and stirring lyrics, but with this radio mix the track is set to dominate the airwaves also, and with the weight of their collaborators behind them, it is only a matter of time before MATTN and Futuristic Polar Bears are internationally recognised names.

Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike give their take on Bassjacker’s infamous ‘F*CK’

Smash The House’s head honcho’s Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are always prepared to push the boundaries of dance music, and their edit of Bassjacker’s ‘F*CK’ is no exception. Bassjackers are no stranger to creating dancefloor anthems themselves such as “Bring That Beat”, “Marco Polo”, “Rough” and many more. With Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike following on from their Beatport #1 track ‘Melody’ on their own colossal Smash The House imprint, you can guarantee that this combination of two acts in such demand will only result in one outcome; a dancefloor bomb.
The bouncy bass, glitchy beat and stop-start synth give the track a jacking feel and provide the groove, but it is the cheeky vocal that sets the track apart. The lyrics, from DJ Yoeri’s original ‘Fuck On Cocaine’, released in the midst of rave in 2001, are a throwback to the hedonistic reputation of dance music in years gone by. The growling bassline combines well with the vocal in the breakdown to set an ominous tone, which is switched up later in the track, with an epic ensemble of melodies and harmonies in the latter part creating a memorable contrast. The pounding kick that is introduced in the drop establishes the track as a peak-time, no-frills club banger that is sure to set fire to dancefloors across the world.
Bassjackers are a one-of-a-kind DJ-duo, who have made an enormous rise to the top these last years. The numerous collaborations with other artists and even remixes for A-list artists only confirm their status as dancefloor masters.

 Not content with being the #1 DJ’s in the world, recent movements suggest Belgian brothers Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are hell-bent on total world domination. After their recent win at Mexico’s EMPO awards, where the duo picked up an impressive 3 accolades, they have been hard at work in the studio, giving us their version of the massive Avancada’s 1999 Hard House hit ‘GO!’ featuring the production talent of Wolfpack, who’s recent collaboration with Warp Brothers - ‘Phatt Bass 2016’, reached a mighty #5 in the Beatport chart. Fresh off the back of her edit of the massive ‘Café Del Mar’, MATTN is back and better than ever on Smash The House with her new track ‘How We Roll’, a collaboration with Dutch duo 2 Faced Funks, who themselves are following up on tracks on the mighty Armada Music and Oxygen Recordings. The combination is a match made in heaven, as the outcome of this musical matrimony is a peak-time club cut primed to make itself heard across the globe and into the sets of the world’s best DJ’s for the foreseeable future.
 ‘How We Roll’ is full of skippy snares, hardstyle kicks and a bassline that rips its way through the track, guaranteed to cause chaos on the dancefloor. A progressive house style pluck punctuates the track, joined by bursts of synths that keep the listener on their toes. The breakdown teases the elements as they filter up, leading a sea of lush tones to descend on the track before the pounding beats are dropped, pushed along by a low end arpeggio that rumbles underneath menacingly.

The production talent on show in ‘How We Roll’ is evident, as both artists have undoubtedly brought their A-game to a track that could be the biggest yet for both of them. Having toured the world at places such as Dubai, France, Russia, Germany, Jakarta and Brazil collectively, it goes without saying you will be hearing a lot more from both of these artists in the coming months, as they continue their meteoric rise.
