I think their business model is just knowing just enough about Bitcoin so they can steal money from Canadians that know nothing about it. 

Let me explain it. First part of this transaction was getting 6000 EUR into CAD and to a dealer in Calgary. I had already sold BCH for EUR to protect myself against volatility. All they had to do was like ask me to buy Tether or USDC and send that to them. I would have eaten the fees on my end no problem. They could have charged me 3% for their service. Also not a problem. They could have even charged the dealer 3% for their service, also not a problem. But they wanted like another percentage on top of that to protect against volatility while I had my shit in Euro's already and could have bouth a stablecoin and send that to their exchange address.  Don't treat your customers like idiots and don't try to steal from them.
