A soundwalk that starts from the South entrance of Deptford High street to move up North and then turn West toward the flea market in Douglas way and  finally walks back to the starting point.
Price negotiations, playful children, sizzling burgers, a preacher with a megaphone, the alternation of competing boomboxes and radios broadcasting from the shops to attract customers, a bandsaw to cut frozen fish, are some of the sounds that can be heard, interspersed with utterances in languages from all around the world.

'Listening to six spaces' (vocals by Gabrielle HB) is an attempt to capture the "sonic soul" (or impulse response, in the dry engineering term) of some of the different spaces that we inhabited during those days, also with our sounds, and that may have an impact in the way that we listened and felt.

Listening To Six Spaces [binaural]

Beginning of spring, an iron cage with a mix of seeds attracts several birds into it. Two omni-directional microphones tied around the tree trunk capture the incredible wing movement so close that in person it might be nearly impossible to experience.
