Written, recorded, and edited from various basements, couches, bathrooms, and cars that doubled as bedrooms "Insert Catchphrase Here:" is the freshman outing for Rosemount rapper (Lead Singer of Saving Vinyl City) Ner-D. 

With all the beats (sans one piano led mashup and one cover) coming from free youtube producers this mixtape sets out to evoke the emotions a young rapper might experience trying to break into a genre that seems "much too cool and sexy" for a nerdy black kid from a small town to handle. 

Ner-D's fun, whimsical, and often chaotic approach to rap is a stylistic nesting doll with a new layer to by found with each repeat listen. At the same time Ner-D has moments that reaches down into the more subtle and somber questions of both fame and oppertunities not taken a long the way. 

"Insert Catchphrase Here:" has been a labor of love for over a year and is finally here to be brought to the Millions (or more likely dozen) Ner-D fans around the world.....once he figures out a cool enough catchphrase that is

Every now and then I get inspiration for a song that is so overwhelming that I can't do anything else before I get it done.

I woke up this morning with that feeling.

I had a friend of mine who was a musician here in the Twin Cities and he hurt a lot of people. It lead me to thinking about all the people who i know that were horrible to women and other people who consider themselves Left of center and are publicly feminist.

I think as a man and an artist I have a responsibility to say...if you are hurting people with your actions and desires....
