Jannowitz Records' relationship with Maksim Dark has come a long way from the days Jannowitz first heard this uber-producer's skills on imprints like Oliver Huntemann's Sense and Dubfire's Sci+Tec.

What has ensued is a series of releases on Jannowitz, culminating in this latest EP, titled "Sunfire." A comparably small EP for Jannowitz standards, "Surefire" consists of two tracks and one remix by Drumcomplex, also a dear friend of the label and a more than well-known producer in Germany and beyond. 

Here Drumcomplex takes “Sunfire” and creates his own version of it. His remix is more loopy, more tooly, taking the best parts of the original and creating a vibe with a stronger kick, less focus on the baseline and more on the dance floor.

Man könnte natürlich wie üblich beginnen mit – Ochs & Klick geboren am.. in… um… aber wichtiger ist es, in den Vordergrund zu stellen, was Musik für sie bedeutet und wie sie zueinander stehen.

Sie sind nicht nur DJ Kollegen, sondern auch als gute Freunde zusammengewachsen – was jeden einzelnen Auftritt zu einem besonderen Erlebnis werden lässt. Gemeinsam ergänzen sie sich auf jeder Linie – mit unverwechselbaren Klängen.

Ob nun vor großem Publikum, auf großen Veranstaltungen und Open Airs, ob vor tobendem Publikum in Clubs oder für Freunde. Wenn sie ihre Zeit gemeinsam im Studio verbringen, hat das etwas sehr familiäres, doch im Club sind sie die puren Entertainer. Ihre gemeinsamen Projekte sind seit 2009 die Booking Agentur „Akzent Bookings“ seit 2013 die Veranstaltung „HeimatKult“ in Marburg und das jüngste 2015 gegründete Baby – ihr Techno Label „Repitched“.
