Part of my thesis work was to arrange a jazz standard in five different styles. 

I chose Hank Mobley's "This I Dig of You" and chose to set it as a soul tune, a traditional Cuban son, a Samba a la Antonio Carlos Jobim, a gospel guitar solo a la Big D Perkins, and a minor setting a la Gretchen Parlato's "All That I Can Say."

Here are some rough mixes and my first attempts at producing something entirely in Pro Tools with in the box sounds. Enjoy!
