Fiquei sabendo que meu amigo de longa data e excelente músico Sebastian (ex-Kosmus) estava por aqui nas férias. Chamei ele e a Antonia Medeiros, excelente cantora e pessoa, pra fazermos um arranjo de uma música brasileira irada e gravarmos em um dia. Quis, como sempre, juntar bons músicos pra, a partir daí, criar e gravar o que consideramos "boa música". Espero que concordem com a gente!

I came to know that my long time friend and excellent musician Sebastian (ex-Kosmus) was in Brazil for his vacations. I called him and Antonia Medeiros (amazing singer and person) to arrange a lovely Brazilian tune and record it on the same day. What I wanted was the usual: get together with awesome musicians in order to create and record what we considered "good music". I hope you agree with us!

Mais uma criação desses últimos dias antes da minha viagem - dessa vez uma composição com meu amigo e excelente músico Felipe Ribas, baterista da banda Contando Bicicletas.

Mais uma vez o processo foi extremamente prazeroso e trabalhoso, mas de uma forma diferente, pois pessoas e desafios diferentes estavam envolvidos. Foi divertido correr para gravar bateria (com apenas 2 microfones) antes das 22h, encher o saco de todos com o esporro enquanto compúnhamos durante o dia e, claro, gravar o resto, editar e mixar até às 4 da manhã.

Isso e o fato de nos restringirmos a um dia apenas para sairmos do nada e chegarmos a um arquivo musical que nos orgulhe e nos lembre pelo que passamos nesse dia tornam essas experiências muito únicas. 

Por isso venho correndo atrás desse tipo de exercício nos últimos dias; me ajuda a me conectar mais com pessoas queridas e que admiro - e a criarmos nosso próprio registro, juntos.
