After a little summer break it is about time to reanimate our podcast series and serve you again with some cozy music for your home comforts. With slowly getting into winter mood we’re happy to share with you the perfect soundtrack for snuggling into the most comfy spot on the couch, made by no other than our all-time inspirer Matti aka @mattmosphere, master of chill mixtapes and connaisseur of the unconventional. He presents us an eclectic and soul soothing selection of tunes somewhere between Ambient, Balearic and Vaporwave. Calming genres that combine gentle instrumentation here and there with bird chirping, water dribble, wind noises and fire crackling - music made by lush nature that carries us back to the sunny days. Arising from some beautifully nostalgic reconnections you indeed feel his dedication to the abundance of a lush island, as Matti mentioned the „Schlaraffenland“, the land of milk an honey, a place that allows you to sit back, relax and float. We gladly follow that recommendation and invite you to celebrate slowliness and ease with us on this first day of December, which is also the day Matti was born! We meet with unusual events this year, be it a haze in winter, or more like a late snowfall in spring. We are so happy to host our next mixtape by our dear friend Mattmosphere.

In the past we know Matt for his special sound and way of playing music. Based mainly on ambient and experimental atmospheres. Today he has given us an extraordinary set that represents the sound that is usually directed towards clubs and dancefloors, perhaps as a celebration of having them back after a long wait. Us being big fans of minimal and house, could not feel a better fit.

This was a mesmerising and emotional evening surrounded by friends and a simply beautiful & open minded crowd in Bachstelzen (Velvet Soup). 

This set is comprised of new & old unplayed material, and sound experiments I created in the build up to Fusion.

I want to say thank you to everyone, you made me feel something intense on this evening, returning home was never harder, and I'll never forget it.

We all know this moment - you are lying in bed with a loved one and the world stands still.

You put on some music to set the scene for rising temperatures under the sheets…

The set you put on suddenly brings you out of rhythm, but getting up to skip the track is no longer an option.

We have been scouting for the perfect sunday morning sets for quite a while already and @Mattmosphere has been a steady supplier of them for us. So we asked him and his partner Adriana to record one hour of music together, to which they like to stay in bed with.

It's an intimate ask, but they said yes and this beauty of a set is the result. 

Mattmosphere selected half the tracks and adriana aka @amapola-sounds selected the other half and sang her own beautiful lyrics ( see below), their good friend @morgen_musik recorded them and the result is something magical:

Influenced by a family treasure in form of an armoire full of antique vinyl and the dominating sound of Germanys seductive capital - including its many sprouting festivals -  Billy Caso (@billy-caso) felt the urge to switch attention from his well-established main project to this new monicker.
Despite the fact of having a large, highly-acclaimed and press-featured back catalogue, he reinvented himself and made quite a splash by unexpectedly releasing four brilliant and broadly honored edits.
The many asking for more, may now be pleased - drumroll, curtains up and a warm welcome please for our newest label member.

Unsere Nummer 94 kommt diese Woche von einem ganz besonderen und eigenwilligen Künstler, der mit seinen Sets stets für die ganz entspannten Momente im Leben sorgt. Dabei geht es ihm nicht nur um sich selbst...
Die Rede ist von Paco, der für die meisten unter dem Namen Paco Risikogruppe' bekannt sein dürfte. 
Dass es sich bei dem ausgefallenen Namen eigentlich um ein langjähriges Züricher Veranstaltungs- und Blog-Projekt handelt, dürften dagegen nur Wenige wissen. 

In den letzten 10 Jahren hat die Risikogruppe nämlich schon so einiges bewegt. Unter anderem organisierten sie Labelnächte für Eve&Rave, den Nachtschatten Verlag und waren Teil des 'Tracks Festivals' in Basel. Zusammen mit den Audioasylanten luden sie auch schon vermehrt in den bekannten Züricher Club Friedas Büxe zum Tanz ein.

Neben den Veranstaltungen präsentiert Paco sogar schon seit 2008 verschiedene Mixe und Live-Sets von Künstlern auf seinen Risikogruppe Blogs: WordPress & Facebook.

Seine eigene Podcast-Serie sind für viele internationale Musikliebhaber bereits zum Geheimtipp geworden. Der regelmäßige Support auf kraftfuttermischwerk – eines der grössten deutschen Blogs – steht exemplarisch für die Resonanz seiner eigenwilligen Podcast-Serie. Temporeduziert rumpeln sie über verschiedene elektronische Genres hinweg. Und so entstand auch sein eigenes 'Valium House', dem er bis heute treu geblieben ist.

Seine Hingabe zum 'Langsamen' ist tatsächlich in jedem seiner Sets zu hören. Dazu reicht einzig schon ein kurzer Blick auf die immer wieder sehr spezielle Tracklist, welche stets den ein oder anderen Geheimfavoriten in sich trägt. Und obwohl er fast immer auf aktuelle Nummern verzichtet, sind seine Aufnahmen dennoch erfrischend und zeitlos zugleich. Ein Prädikat welches nur ganz Wenige tragen. 
Dazu bringt er in jedes seiner Sets eine ganz spezielle ,individuelle, musikalische Note ein, dass sich vor allem mit dem Gefühl der Anspannung und Entspannung erklären lässt. Und ganz egal ob wahrnehmbar melodisch, 'toxisch' verträumt, kindlich spielerisch oder unheimlich dunkel, stets bietet er dem Zuhörer auch Raum das Unbewusste zu erkunden: Gedanken zu vereinen, Gefühle zu reinigen oder einfach nur den Geist und den Körper baumeln zu lassen.
Ganz egal was du auch vorhast. Eine Reise die sich immer wieder lohnt!

Umso mehr freut es uns, dass wir Paco für unsere Reihe gewinnen konnten. Dass er sich wieder einmal mit seinem ganz ausgefallenen Sonntags-After-Set übertroffen hat, versteht sich fast schon von selbst. Wir sind einfach nur stolz auf diesen knapp zwei stündigen Leckerbissen aus dem Reich des Valium-House.
Jetzt aber genug der Worte.

So als Käpt’n ist das ja auch nicht einfach, nech wahr. Da musst du Vorbild sein, dem faulen Gesindel an Deck Kommandos geben und am besten machst eh alles gleich selber. Ja Nee, das läuft ja nunmal gar nicht und Käpt’n https://soundcloud.com/rolandson ist da auch gar nicht so der Mensch für. Gut, dass wir die nautische Schifffahrtskammer aber immer wieder austricksen und ihr glauben machen können, wir seien streng hierarchisch organisiert und alles fädelt sich an der Perlenkette auf. Na gut, es ist nicht so einfach wie es klingt, bestechen müssen wir da den Ein oder die Andere schon hin und wieder - was uns aber aufgrund unserer musikalischen Leidenschaft und Vielfalt nicht schwer fällt. So mussten wir nach der Verschiebung des Raum-Zeit-Kontinuum kurz mal die  an Bord geschaffene Impulsionisationskammer öffnen und einen Einblick in das langsamere Langsam gewähren. Das hat sich dann schon ganz schön hingezogen, doch unsere neuer Steuermann https://soundcloud.com/mattmosphere hat die Damen und Herren der nautischen Schifffahrtskammer ordentlich umgarnt und sie auf eine Reise geschickt. Ihr wollt wissen wie die story verlief? Ja dann, dann lest hier seine Beschreibung und lauschet aufmerksam seinem Seasidetrip, Aye.

»Du kommst zur Morgendämmerung an den Strand und bist in dich gekehrt. Du setzt dich ans Meer in den Sand und schliesst die Augen. Du kommst zur Ruhe und Besinnung und bist bereit für deinen (Seaside) Trip, der dich mit dir selbst und dem Ozean verbindet. Du lauschst dem Rauschen der Wellen und der deepe und langsame Bass lässt dich wie einen Vogel über den Ozean schweben. Nach einer Weile in der Luft treibt es dich wieder zurück an die Wasseroberfläche und du tauchst letztendlich hinab in die dunkle und weite Tiefe. Dort ist es geheimnisvoll, etwas düster und mysteriös, doch du bist neugierig. Du tauchst durch endlose Lagunen und kommst nach einer Weile wieder in seichtere und freundlichere Gewässer. Witchtape #55 | Guest Wizz : leschueft ‘Heimlich Im Hexenwald’ 

(Story continued from Witchtape #50)
After the sage – accompanied by his trusted guide owl – sneaked stealthily into the forest, he sensed an unusually serene energy.  The animals were not shy at all, and when he noticed that many of them were moving slowly into one particular direction, he decided to follow this unusual procession until it ground to a halt while all the animals looked into the distance.  The sage looked into the same direction and what he saw left him completely petrified.  In a nearby clearing he saw a young girl – maybe still in her teens - with very long brown hair and an immaculately white dress frolic with some wolves.  The sage didn’t know whether to hide or flee, but when he saw all the forest dwellers around him watching this spectacle in a relaxed mood, he concluded it was OK to keep on observing this mystery girl while staying out of sight in order not to disturb her.
The sage wasn’t sure whether this girl was a fairy or maybe a witch, but she obviously wasn’t an ordinary human being.  After a few minutes, the little girl started collecting some firewood.  The nearby animals immediately started to help her, with a couple of magpies flying in some twigs while two wolves and a few squirrels swiftly collected some pieces of wood and laid it at the feet of the young witch.  With all this help, it only took a few minutes before a small pile of firewood was lying in front of the barefoot girl.  After indicating that there was enough wood now, she took a small cauldron and filled it with some fresh water from a nearby stream.  She also picked a selection of herbs and mushrooms and when all the ingredients had been gathered, she put the cauldron on the fireplace and with an elegant hand movement, she lighted a floating spark which gently found its way to the firewood and set it ablaze.  The sage was dumbfounded by this magic spectacle, and so was his guide owl who sat on his shoulder all the time.  With calm and unhurried movements, the girl put all the ingredients into the cauldron and gently stirred the brew.  Meanwhile the sage asked himself how the dress of this barefoot forest girl could be so immaculately white.  After about half an hour, the brew seemed to be ready and the witch took the cauldron away from the fire to let it cool down.  Meanwhile, she sat down on an old log and stretched out her arm, and within seconds a beautiful white owl landed on her hand.  Her smile was pleasant and warm, yet the sage sensed that it would not be a good idea to disturb this young witch.  A few minutes later, the white owl flew away while the sage sensed that his trusted guide owl started to become restless until all of a sudden the bird flew up from his shoulder and headed straight towards the girl, who was pleasantly surprised when the owl landed on her hand.  She immediately noticed that this bird belonged to an exotic species she had never seen before and she observed the wonderful creature with great curiosity.  The witch spoke some soft words to the little owl and looked at him with a radiant smile.  She knew perfectly how to handle little owls, and soon the bird was lying on his back in the palm of her hand with his wings spread open, while the girl gave him a playful massage on his belly, which pleased the little owl so much that he closed his eyes.  The sage couldn’t believe it.  His guide owl was his inseparable companion for the last 2 years, yet he had never allowed him to cuddle him in the way the witch was doing.  It was a moment of pure magic.  After a couple of minutes, the girl put the bird on his feet again and gave him a tender little kiss, after which the owl seemed to wake up from his state of blissful hypnosis and flew back to the sage, who quickly ducked behind a bush so that witch wouldn’t spot him…

@Mattmosphere and Love Foundation that is a love affair that has been going on for a while. It all started with a romantic weekend in Vienna beginning 2018, sparks were flying and a second weekend getaway was planned together. This time outside and in the slightly smaller mountains of the Netherlands, in Limburg.

After that it was clear that both parties are ready for the next step and a fusion of the @drosssel and Love Foundation family with a 48 hour rave weekend in Mensch Meier in Berlin, was the logical conclusion in summer 2019.

Now we are limited to online dating, but Matt knows how to play that game as well and the set that he recorded for us, hits us right in the heart. Be ready for an hour full of emotions and a special kind of journey that only Matt knows how to take you on. 

We love you Matt and we look already forward to the next gathering in real life together.

A virus is keeping the whole world in check. Daily life is restricted to the bare minimum, nightlife doesn't happen at all. The rich become even richer and more people than ever become poor because of losing their source of income. On this note: Millions of artists, musicians, DJs and others alike are not only unable to do their jobs, but also have to find new ways of expressing themselves.
