Following an impressive first edition, renowned DJ/Producer Marcel Fengler’s IMF imprint is back with another immersive VA from faces old and new. Undeniably electrifying from open to close, ‘HARDPROOF 02’ masterfully captures the varying shades of raw, contemporary Techno, delivering an unparalleled selection of captivating dancefloor weapons.

Ukrainian producer Chontane gets the VA underway with ‘Mana Loa’, diving straight into the heavy stuff with fast-paced, industrious warehouse rawness. Undulating corrosive synth lines rip through the middle of the mix, orbited by a continuum of breakneck drum grooves and piercing percussive drive. 

‘Urge’ sees Ferdinger use clean-cut Techno with authentic House flavours to carve out a mesmerising peak-time cut filled with robust low-end sonics, rhythmically weaved melodies and endlessly danceable energy from start to finish. Introversion’s ‘Canyonero’ cuts an entirely different line, blurring the lines between hightempo Minimal/Tech and Techno. An endlessly groovy affair from the outset, built from a captivating bass of jazzy organs, swinging bassline and shuddering rhythms throughout; try not to dance to this - it’s impossible. 

Sigvard returns following a stellar outing on HARDPROOF 01, bringing ‘Mesmeric’ to the table. Another racy cut, combining a sea of melodic layers with firmly driven drums and a piercing percussive attack, bleeding into an expansive collection of dissolving harmonies,
creating an undeniably mesmeric result.

Spanish newcomers Ill Communication’s track ‘Gabapentina’ rounds off the VA with another slice of stunning musicality. A tide of rhythms and coarse percussion bring a slightly tribal tinge, complemented by the ebb and flow of sweeping synth lines, dissolving pads and a glitchy vox loop.

Growing up on the north Atlantic island of Iceland bestows one with an unusual and often intense relationship with light and colour: Summers come with endless days, Winters with scant sunlight yet increased sightings of the Aurora Borealis; the mysterious and awe-inspiring glow across the sky. Channelling these energies, Exos comes to Tresor with his Green Light EP, a five-track collection of the sort of spectrally rich techno synonymous with the Northman's 27-year career.

Across the EP, the five tracks fizz and pulsate driving ever forward, making the release's title a three-way play on words referencing the continuous travelling of photons, the verdant warping of the Northern Lights, and the universal colour for Go, for forward propulsion. Smart wordplay can also be found in titles like Gr&aacute;tt Silfur, a term in &Iacute;slenska (literally "grey sliver") which signifies a tension between two parties, further extending the colour metaphor and dark/light dichotomy found elsewhere.


The digital release comes with three extra tracks that continue the dynamic energy, pushed along by the same shifting, mutating force where the music often feels like voices calling out from the darkness or the shimmer of light as the sun rises across the horizon.

Green Light EP continues this year's blazing return from an artist who, similar to his output, is never stagnant: ever changing form yet ever moving forward.

With CNC, Concussion introduces a platform dedicated exclusively to his own music—free from limitations and open to boundless creativity. The label stands for high-quality, refined, and hypnotic music, without adhering to a fixed style in the traditional sense. Instead, CNC showcases Concussion's evolving musical journey, inviting listeners to embark on a sonic expedition—starting with “Lampak”.

The “Lampak” EP features four meticulously crafted tracks that capture the emotional peaks of a DJ set. Moving away from conventional loop arrangements, each track takes the listener on an immersive and emotional journey. Unique vocals, innovative sound design, and striking synth patterns make these tracks stand out, adding a distinct touch to any set. Influences from Concussion's earlier releases are still present, seamlessly woven into his evolving sound.
“Lampak” will be available in both digital and vinyl formats, marking the beginning of a label that doesn’t follow trends but fulfills a personal vision.

Offering powerful standalone club cuts and a cohesive deep-dive, the expansive VA lands on 24th October 2025.
The fourth edition of SHDW’s flagship ‘Federation Of Rytm’ VA series has been carefully curated by the DJ/ producer and head honcho over more than a year, with close attention to detail given to sequencing. It is a balance of label regulars and debutants that represents the past, present, and future, both sonically and through the generational diversity of the artists involved. There are plenty of surprises along the way while always remaining true to the Mutual Rytm ethos and reflecting the journey of the night from start to finish, whether that's in intimate, sweaty clubs or on big festival stages.

"I’ve lived with most of these tracks for over a year, testing them on the dancefloor and fine-tuning the selection. Across 30 tracks in the digital collection and 24 on four sides of wax, the release explores the full breadth of the Mutual Rytm sound. Driving grooves and relentless percussion set the pace, gradually unfolding into hypnotic and atmospheric passages that invite deeper immersion. Pulsating low-end power alternates with eerie minimalism, while bursts of futuristic energy and cavernous kick drums keep the tension high. Elsewhere, dub textures and moments of introspection provide balance, creating a narrative arc that moves fluidly between intensity and release, atmosphere and tension, darkness and light.
