People! I'm doing not one, but two editions of my bi-monthly residency at Mutant Radio today. There's my "Out there...in the perimeter" 2-hour episode of new music on compilations from whypeopledance , Bamboo Shows , Earthly Measures and the latest Elsewhere compilation as well as new material from T-woc TAGLIABUE, Cosmo Vitelli, Anjuna Niv, Benoit B, Lion's Drums,Jimmy Smack and other wondrous musical entities. Preceding this show is a 1-hour "Solidarity" Special edition dedicated to people around the world dragged into wars and conflicts they do not want. There is a smattering of protest songs and anti-war songs but also philosophical, spiritual and reflective songs highlighting the beauty, marvel, wonder and indeed even tragedy of this thing we call life. For something so special we humans sure do know how to make a mess of a very, very good thing. The message is one of love...and to take heed and learn from our mistakes. Included in the show is music from Bowie, Cher, William Onyeabor, Bahumutsi Drama Group, David Sylvian & Ryuichi Sakamoto, Laibach, Ivor Cutler and lots more. I hope you enjoy this one hour special dedicated in particular to the people of Ukraine and those elsewhere in the world dragged into brutal conflicts against their will, always by men in suits who themselves stay unscathed!!!

This mix is definitely a "party mix" for me: a harder sound, full of Italo masterpieces past and present, which is what I'll be bringing for Drift Nieuwjaarsdans. I recorded this live, and almost every song I play is from a 12", with a couple of exceptions: the Strada, which is wildly beyond my price range, Nico Band, and a special edit of Vikki Benson's Easy Love by my friend and Italo hero, George Hysteric. I also play a 12" from one of Toronto's finest Hi-NRG acts, Tapps, as an ode to my hometown." - Automaticamore

The young Berlin-based label founded by the duo Sandra & Hendrik Stein kicks off with a mini compilation of four carefully selected tracks by Cosmic Music legend DJ Stefan Egger. The two DJs and record collectors are known for their various appearences in the Berlin nightlife and radio landscape. While Hendrik is hosting the "Past Forward" radio show together with Menqui and Kryptic DJ on Cashmere Radio, Sandra aka Frinda di Lanco was running "Ciao Amore Baci", inviting DJs with a faible for less-known exotic dance and disco music. In numerous ecstatic b2b sessions Sandra & Hendrik expressed their love for music from cosmic / balearic over italo / new beat to tribal and early trance.
