Raised on a classic rock and folk record collection, Spitko’s early influences soon had him reaching for the piano, then a guitar and harmonica. Influenced by the American song book, from Harry Smith’s Anthology of American folk music to contemporary singer-songwriters, Spitko has developed a widely accessible songwriting style, merging a large swath blend of Americana to find his own voice.

September 2015 will mark the independent release of Spitko’s debut LP with producer Barrie Maguire, called ‘At Love with War’
