Euphonos- a greek word meaning "well-sounding" or "sweet-voiced."
Sometimes, we need no words to express ourselves and putting our brains' eloquence onto speech or paper does no justice expressing them. A composition inspiring sighs that dwells from one's heart to express the unexpressed.

Written in loving memory of Eduvijes Yucoco and Andrea Veneracion, National Artist for Music, a loving mother and grandmother...

One of my personal favorites including Sempurna and Ili-Ili. An arrangement inspired by a very good friend, Jo Goldsmith of the Swingle Singers. 

It's almost been a year since this was first performed during our "Premiere" concert at the Cultural Center of the Philippines. This performance was recorded in Talavera, Nueva Ecija during the Madz 2013 Outreach Concert Tour.

A Song Cycle taken from LaMar Boschman's devotional look at the Book of Revelations depicting the five songs before the throne of the Almighty. The responses of all creatures above, on earth and under the earth, elements of nature, angels, elders and of celestial bodies gathering around the throne to worship the One who sits there are the Songs from the Other Side.


Completed this work in 2012 and I waited 2 years to look for a choir to perform it within 3 weeks time to prepare.
Premiered by the Philippine Madrigal Singers, 
Panorama, s Mark Anthony Carpio's First Grad Recital.

 The song depicts a montage of experiences - high and low, beginning and endings, in the journey of a man's life. Professing a profound gratitude for the gift of existence, the text speaks of life's dichotomy where no one is spared of tears, sorrow and weariness, yet on the  brighter side, still promises hope, blessings and new beginnings.

So, how do you cram 365 days into 3 minutes? Well, this video sums up some parts of my 2017. There's just a surge of overwhelming blessings and unexpected things that happened last year and I couldn't thank God enough and each of everyone of you for being part of my 2017. So before this year starts, (it actually has started already, haha) allow me to express my heartfelt gratitude with this song that I've arranged and recorded. The song means "for old times sake" and it's basically a call to remember old friends as time marches on. A toast to friendship, blessing good health and good will for the year ahead.

To the new and old friends I've travelled and met through this year, thank you fo a great 2017 run. From Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, USA, France, Morocco, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Slovenia, Czech Republic and Germany, you guys know who you are. My only wish is that someday we may meet again, travel, and recreate the wonderful memories that we've had. A toast to our upcoming run this year! Per i bei vecchi tempi, c'est ne qu'un au-revoir, lebt wohl auf wiedersehen, nos reuniremos, for auld lang syne, my friends.
