Matt Vassy (born Matthew Forrester Vassy) is an American music producer and engineer from Snellville, GA. Vassy's music experience includes stints in local bands where he played guitar, bass, keys, and upright bass. Being proficient in so many instruments, and being influenced by artists like J-Dilla, Cee-Lo Green, Aphex Twin, and The Allman Brothers Band led Vassy to music production. As a producer Vassy has released music through Atlanta labels Freakstep, The Block Society, and composed original scores for Funguh Productions. Matt Vassy is currently working with artist development firm MOREDOPE, LLC (@moredopemusic) in preparation for releases from Amir Herron, Deaux, and Analog Summer.
