“Help with Something” is a lyrically poignant story between that special relationship with your mother. A bond is undeniable and unwavering, where your mother supports you no matter what and lifts you up when you are at your lowest. This song is for those mothers who’s dedicated their all and where words aren’t enough. An acoustic, raw feel to the track mixed in with organic roots of pop and country, the song builds up to a chorus where all the emotion of that indescribable bond comes to light.

We all show our gratitude of love to our partner in our own way. Whether that be a romantic home-cooked feel under candlelight or treating our loved one with a night out and showering them with gifts; or even as simple as having a tender moment through song with one another. That’s where singer-songwriter Matt Von shines brilliantly in his new single, “Mine”, giving us the words that sometimes we stutter when trying to show how much we love and appreciate the person we share our life with. 

To share the experiences, memories, and all that comes in between is the definition of true love and finding our soulmate. It isn’t easy finding love, but when found, that person fills every corner with the deep recesses of our soul. There’s no other feeling like it, and even if we’ve had good days or bad days together, we’re still thankful that we have someone with us on our journey of life. Taken from Matt Von’s own story of finding love, “Mine” recounts the story of finding his own love and soulmate, being grateful for every moment that she is in his world and giving a voice and words to all of us that feel same way worldwide. “Mine” releases worldwide on July 23rd, 2021 and is the first single coming out of his debut-EP slated for release in Fall of 2021.

This remix was produced by Dan-Drama, a young upcoming producer from Toronto who decided to put his spin on the track as soon as he heard it. Music is my life and my passion. There's nothing in life that I love more than working at perfecting my craft and performing live to an audience. I love the energy that I can create from making music onstage. The fact that I can make people feel something through the crying of the guitar, or through emotional lyrics that I am singing, is the best feeling in the entire world. I have been playing acoustic and electric guitar for the past 9 years, and I love trying my hand at different genres, with classical and jazz being two of my favorites. I also found my passion for singing while songwriting. Now, I have the ability to call myself an artist. I have been on almost every stage throughout the GTA, accompanying my sister Sarah Jordan, r n b/pop singer songwriter and vocalist, on guitar and backup vocals. I have also performed as an accomplished young solo act at weddings, corporate events, competitions, bars, restaurants and open mics throughout the city. I am also the lead singer of a top 40 band called VON. We have played quite reputable venues, such as Canada Day at Mackenzie Glen Park, The Rivoli, Wasaga Beach, and even The Opera House for a Talent Nation Showcase. I continue to perform as often as I can, and I only hope to continue being a performer because I can't picture myself doing anything else. I may be young, but my dreams are within reach and I can't wait to take my musical talent all the way.
