Sometimes good music can actually be for free, like in the case with our one-off's. Next up as a contributor is Dublin-based DJ M4A4 who graces us with a lo-fi number called "Sciences", made together with Philip Box.

M4A4 has only been producing for about a year but you can tell right away from listening to his previous tracks that we're looking at pure producing talent here. This is confirmed yet again with "Sciences" where lush pads, raw percussions and one of the illest basslines we heard for a while combines to create an irresistable under water-lo-fi groover. Asquith, Catswith or just Jimmy. A man you'll no doubt be familiar with through his diligent service to your favourite sonic seafood supper, Lobster Theremin. Alas, the mans talents span beyond the required acumen to build and sustain such an industry stronghold. Those of you in the know will be aware of his musical ability through the more ambient alias Tom Hang and the warehouse dance-floor ready, Chicago Floatation Device. However, of late, Jimmy has been littering the sonisphere with strictly bangers for our enjoyment via his actual name alias, Asquith.

This one is called 'Hot Hot' - a certified floor weapon which skirts the border of being club tool, yet holding the esteem of a full bodied banger.  A devastating bottom end is amalgamated with glitched percussion which - along with the near percussive vocal stabs - violently slice and slash through the mix. Put it this way, you're not listening to this in the car with your mum but bring her to the club and listen to it there?

Wilcoxia poselgeri can be found primarily in South and West Texas, as well as the adjoining Mexican state of Coahulia. Sometimes referred to as the “Lead Pencil Cactus” or “Dahlia Hedgehog Cactus” due to its slender stems and tuberous Dahlia-like root system, Wilcoxia poselgeri grows in the sandy soils of hills and valleys on either side of the Rio Grande. When in bloom Wilcoxia poselgeri produces large, moderately fragrant pink flowers that open during the day and close at night. Initially erect, Wilcoxia poselgeri gradually begins sprawling amongst its surroundings as it matures to support the growing weight of new stems. Regarded as a slow-growing yet uniquely beautiful specimen, Wilcoxia poselgeri’s relative ease of cultivation makes it a remarkable addition to any collection. Our botanists strive to source and produce high-quality specimens to enrich your mind as well as your ears. After many months in the field our team has returned with a diverse selection of sonic seedlings. Following a series of meticulous experiments in our research facility each seedling has been deemed safe for general propagation and cleared for release.

Swedish producer, Babylon Barseback, gears up for their release on Bostonian label, hadtodoit's fourth EP. With a previous release on Tomahawk records, Babylon Barseback continues to elevate their production quality with each release. 'The Bar' is a Lo-Fi groover with late night after hours vibes with its icy hi-hats, infectious synth melodies, and rhythmic drum patterns.
