Here's The Bottle

Matt first found his love for music with the drums, like many young children, the idea of banging on things was appealing. He was between the ages of 5 and 6, his next-door neighbor, let him have a shot at playing his drums. It was love at first thwack! The neighbor gave Matt lessons for a while until the military decided it was time for his active-duty mother and her family to move. Off to Virginia! Like most parents, Matt's weren't willing to buy him a drum set -  Money, noise, take your pick - but still obsessed with music, Matt, now about to start the 6th grade, decided after much thought and fuss to join the school band on the trumpet. He excelled at first but soon his love for rock music took over. He made an attempt at incorporating his love for rock into his trumpet skill by starting a Ska band. This band was very short lived however; practices were usually a complete failure . Eventually the guitarist quit and Matt decided to try his hand at learning it in an attempt to keep the band going, now as a rock band instead. Time passed and he quickly managed to teach himself the guitar to a moderate level, and became even more passionate with his music than ever. He started writing and soon he wanted to sing.  He eventually became so sucked into his guitar and writing that he put down the trumpet permanently.  After several more failed attempts at bands between moves, Matt ended up in Louisianan, where he started his first successful band, Midnight Journey. After nearly 2 years together and a plethora of member changes the band fell apart due to creative disinterests among members, and just before the band's first album could be released.  With no music project to work towards matt decided to move into the sound business and used much of the equipment and knowledge he had gained from giging with a touring band to start freelancing as a live sound engineer for small venues while simultaneously working on his recording engineering skills. Later, Matt started an Audio Video company called Apollo Sound with a friend he met through  his day job, where he soon plans on opening a studio.
