One Hand Killing

This track started off as a simple drum beat and experiments with midi horns. Ended off with a simple funk guitar lick and bassline.

Funky Horn Groove

This track started with an experiment with midi guitar heavily effected with distortion. I really enjoy the feel of the chorus strings in this one. Definitely needs some kind of vocal line or rap to complete it.

Long Island

"Play music for the love of playing music....."

Playing the bass guitar since 1994, I have a great passion for any music with a solid groove. Currently the bass player for the Adelaide band Twitch.

Core influences are in the Funk / Alt Funk Rock genre having grown up in the 90's listening to the likes of early Red Hot Chili Peppers, Primus and Mr Bungle. Some of my most recent influences include the Butterfly Effect, Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus and Twelve Foot Ninja. 

Most of my songs uploaded will be a sequence of riffs and ideas (or complete songs if I'm lucky!). 

I don't pretend to be a great sound engineer, mixer or masterer but I love creating all types of music and truly enjoy the art.
