Shining on Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s Smash The House imprint with stellar cuts including ‘Tutankhamun’ and ‘Shakti’, Giuseppe Vittoria may be a name newer to the Belgian electronic scene but he’s clearly here to stay and linking up with the mysterious McMillin to return to the sublabel of Smash Deep.

Enlisting a mid-tempo beat that orbits beneath lazer-style synth lines that pew-pew onomatopoeically in a space drum fashion, injecting a Disco-Funk feel from the jump-off allows for harmonies sway in and bring a warmth, connecting with deep house-style melodies for a release that brings the depth. As McMillin’s youthful, soaring vocal takes heed from the 80’s Hall & Oates ‘Maneater’ original, he mainlines an injection of vitality and modern freshness for an almost-unrecognisable take that delivers as wholly original.
