Whatta hybrid! I can hear classical with minor overtones, and klezmer? With rock and roll? and possibly some latin scales snuck in occasionally. Then it goes all lynyrd skynyrd for the solo

Hi, figured I should start describing my tracks actually. Building on the sound I had in my last song, CRACK!, Cursed Beyond the Grave goes in a more blackened death metal style, reminiscent of bands like Sacramentum, Dissection and Windir. Lyrics deal with Buddhist philosophy and mental health steeped in black metal imagery. I tried to make greater use of harsh vocals and do a better job with the mixing and mastering. 

Cursed Beyond the Grave is also the lead single of my debut EP: Realm of Mara, which is currently in concept stage. I wish I could give some sort of concrete release date. I think it may take me a couple of months. I'll be putting it up on Bandcamp as pay as you feel. 

I do everything myself, from song concept right through to production. Me, my trusty Tanglewood and my faithful copy of Ableton. Follow for more blackened cloud rap. The events of 2020-21 have exposed the fragility of our global systems and the flawed foundations on which modern societies and economies are built. ‘Count the Dead’ brings attention to complex issues concerning the value of human life. The song draws attention to the social and economic injustices that plague society, and the violent health inequalities that have been further exacerbated by the global pandemic, which has now claimed more than 4 million lives worldwide.    

Continuing the themes addressed in ‘Love in the Time of Pestilence’, ‘Count the Dead’ is the second instalment of songs addressing the ongoing pandemic and global crisis. At a time when the world appears to be more divided than ever before, discourse has never been more important, and urgent.
