Shahin Kanafchian, better known as Eskai, has been thrust into the limelight this year, thanks to a series of highly supported original releases and remixes. The Bay Area-based talent has been refining his sound for a decade now, culminating in the impressive accomplishment of various hits this year that span the electronic music spectrum, from deeper progressive to peak-hour trance. Following the sweeping success of last year's "Tides" EP (which has received over a million total plays on Spotify), Eskai returns to our imprint with the feel-good house anthem "Mimi."

Eskai's life-affirming "Mimi" kicks off with a gentle house rhythm; a soothing and repeating piano motif soon joins the mix, as well as the central theme: a playful, marimba-backed lead melody. As the song patiently crescendoes, the arrangement becomes increasingly layered and dynamic, evoking a celebratory mood in the listener.

The next chapter in Gabriel & Dresden’s ‘Remedy’ narrative, ‘Remember’, sees Josh and Dave return to the thought-provoking and wistful songwriting that has made them such a beloved act in electronic music for nearly two decades. After a chance encounter in their native Spokane, a partnership with Brayden Schmick (a.k.a. Centre) blossomed, with the versatile musician contributing vocals on ‘Remember’ plus strings accompaniments across several tracks on the album. 

"I first introduced myself to Britt and Josh at dance parties she would host at her vintage store called Living Room. During a dinner at their house a spontaneous performance of me playing the viola, Josh on piano and Britt singing happened in the dining room. I then sent Josh some of my music and he sent me an instrumental to sing over. ‘Remember' came to me one night and they took the first sample I sent them. Josh and Dave are both so personable and authentic, and I am thankful to have been able to grow a relationship with them.” - Centre

Olan and Nourey deliver their first joint-effort, ‘In Motion’, out now on Anjunabeats.

Atlanta-based musician, producer and vocalist Luzana Flores, aka Olan, landed on our radar last year through her collaborations with Mat Zo. She played an integral role on Mat’s ‘Illusion of Depth’ album, co-writing ‘Problems’, ‘Paralysis’ and the Sirius XM BPM hit 'Colours'. She’s the co-founder of CloudStepper Records, and has supported the likes of Goldroom, Keys N Krates and Chet Porter.

Egyptian-born, Boston-based student Nourey recently made her Anjunabeats original debut on the first volume of the Rising EP series with ‘All Night’ alongside ZOYA. A classically trained guitarist, Nourey made the natural progression into electronic music production, where her unique blend of trance, house and jazz has earned support from Above & Beyond, with multiple plays on Group Therapy Radio.

‘In Motion’ marks the first collaboration between Olan and Nourey, with more original material from both artists coming soon. ‘In Motion’ is out now on Anjunabeats.
