First, Amir Telem is serving us 'Born Again', exhibiting a pounding baseline, impeccable heart-warming synth riffs, and profound spiritual vocals which will elevate your spirit far away, deep into the cosmos. Following up next, we have the honor to welcome Marc DePulse to Mau House with his mesmerizing interpretation of the EP theme track. In his remix, the Leipzig-based producer kept the original's essentials, lowered the bpm a bit, and added his magical and powerful touch to give it an extremely pleasurable deep perspective. Coming up next is Amir Telem's collab with the Zürich-based producer, Don Son - 'Feel Like Myself'. A peak time trip that oozes groovy, obscure, and intoxicating melodies that collide with warm and fabulous vocals and synth riffs, forming a masterfully crafted peak time weapon. Next, we have the pleasure to welcome Ran Salman to our label. The Tel Aviv-based producer is serving us an extremely pleasurable instrumental remix for the EP theme track, with its rounded baseline, deep melancholic synth riffs, and a pinch of acidic sounds, which create a fascinating clubby adventure. Last but not least we are happy to welcome to Mau House the Istanbul-based producer Stefan Addo, which is closing the EP with his remix for Amir Telem and Don Son's Feel Like Myself'. In his interpretation, Stefan Addo is exhibiting a cinematic perspective for the EP theme track, with his punchy baseline, dreamy Xylophone sounds, warm dramatic synth riffs fused with fresh and misty electronic sounds.

Uncluttered space, focus on few elements and enough room for them to really unfold and shine: Mila Journée understands that such principles do not only work in the tangible world around us, but also in the ethereal spheres of electronic dance music. In Benjamin 136 the talented Brazilian producer spreads out breezy sound textures upon the subtle modulation of the deep groove as if they were wafts of morning mist over a lake. The swirling melody of Fleeting Dreams adds up with the rolling bassline and creates a solid load of energy, yet again the focus remains on the quality of the details, not on their quantity. Bengal, a bundle of deep and driving stories, filled up with organic and dramatic. This EP by Don Son is a journey into distant countries. The characteristic of Bengal and Smell of Cinnamon is built on traditional Ouds and Kanuns, the main instruments. Accompanied by progressive basslines, both tracks turn into rolling hypnotism. 

Bengal serves you with agressive and straight elements with a minimalistic topping of striking melodies, beside the oriental marker. Its made to roll across the ground and to get everything in vibration. 

Smell Of Cinnamon is like a hijack into another dimension. Slowly you will be guided deeper and deeper to the center of this theatrical happening like a vortex. Nasty basslines rolling through your bones and harmonic but dramatic plucks capture your mind.

Jean Vayat has transformed Bengal into a slower version, playful, deep and groovy. Homogenous and on point is what you get. Sublte percussion on top, epic elements for the drop, a smooth bassline and a creaky deep bass complete the whole.

Amir Telem´s Smell Of Cinnamon Remix appears in a new shape. Filled with a melancholic Piano melody, some synthetic arpeggiators, which are creating whole new landscapes and a driving bassline, this interpretation takes you on an unique journey.

Italian DJ and producer Mattia Pompeo is building a solid reputation, with releases on Sincoapt, Atmosphere, DAYS like NIGHTS, Time has Changed and of course here on Récits de Mars.

He returns with his full debut EP, and the title track 'La Belle Hortense' is a gritty breaky slab of filth. Gnarly sounds meet wonkiness, and melodics range from bright and tinkly to downright dirty. Big pads bring light before the bassline takes us back in to deeper and darker , a solid and accomplished piece of goodness.

Label boss Several Definitions steps up on remix duties, and takes us in to 4 to thr 4 territory. Utilising the mayhem and musicality from the original, but giving the rework its own slantm yet being very respectful to Mattia's track.

To round off the EP, we venture back in to Mattias mind, as we find 'Rampart'. Again shade and light feature, as we have the warm key changing riff, while a moody bass blasts through. Hot!
